does everyone talk to themselves.

I am embarrassed and surprised that my husband and kids tell me that I talk to myself out loud.  Tell me that you guys do it too please.

I do, I do!  Did I just say that out loud?

The question is....Do you answer yourself?

You know ... it's the people who don't talk to themselves that worry me ...

Do you ever pick a fight with yourself?  Do you always feel like you have to win when you're arguing with yourself?

Haha! I do! Its usually when Im stressed and trying to talk myself into or out of something - although saying that, I do it when Im really happy too....

I talk out loud to myself all the time. It's very pronounced if I'm busy doing something that I'm thinking through. I do it quite often while cooking, especially if I'm making something new, getting creative, or coordinating several dishes. If I'm sewing, doing crafts or gardening I do it as well.

I mutter to myself at work if I'm working on a big complex mess.

Absolutely.  In front of my co-workers I talk to myself and when I'm home I talk to myself. 

I talk to my computer a lot-  and I ask it questions when I see crazy work e-mails coming through.  I talk to myself at home mostly while I cook and clean.  But never in the bathroom or doing laundry. 

I talk to my cats about stuff they really aren't interested in.

I talk to myself, and then my husband hears it and tries to get in on the conversation.  I often have to tell him to butt out, I wasn't talking to him ;)

I talk to my cats and dog too. The one cat actually listens to me like he's interested. The other cat looks at me with disdain as if to say when will you ever shut up. The dog is so happy that I'm talking to her she gets excited and wags and jumps around.

I talk to myself all the time. I don't think its such a bad thing. Well, except when I get stressed out and start talking back -- and have a whole 2-way conversation going. I can understand why I get weird looks when that happens!

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I talk to the kitties rather than to myself, though I have been known to talk to the vibrating penguin on my keychain when I'm out and about.  I see nothing wrong with it.

Unless I've been drinking, 'cause I say some pretty weird stuff to myself and sit there like a dumbass waiting for myself to answer.

I talk to myself a lot, especially if I am driving. But now that everyone has hands free headsets for their cell phones, I don't think that I look that weird.

all the time.  sometimes i catch myself doing it while out in public and just have to hope nobody noticed.

Both of my kitties talk back to me too! One makes chirping noises. The other talks non-stop.

All the time....and I answer myself too...but I try and pretend that I'm talking to my pooch. I think I get away with it most of the time?

I never talk to myself.  I do think in my head and write myself reminders, but I never say anything to myself out loud.
