Im 23 years old,   5.58 Feet ( 1.70 cm ) tall, and now I weigh 165lbs (75kg). I lost aprox. 45lbs (22 kg) in 14 month. I counting calories for about 2 months in wich I lost 11lbs (5kg), Im eating about 1200-1300 calories / day work out 2-3 times / week, play soccer 2 times / week + some cardio ( jogging ). I am not eating any carbs after 8 pm. Everything was going ok but I stoped loosing weight. I didnt change anything. I drink a lot of water, a filtered coffee per day, green tea of course without sugar. What can I do to brake this stop ? My target is 70kg. I didnt cheat at all. I eat a huge amount of proteins (100-150g), few carbs (50-100g from wich max. 40 grams os suggar) and about 30-40 grams of fat.  Should I eat more or less ? should I do more exercise? Thank you for youre help in advance.

You need to be eating more with how much you are exercising.  I input your stats into this calculator:

http://www.phord.com/cc/

It says you should be eating 1539 calories a day, and you have been eating at least a couple hundred less.  I would recommend upping your calories a bit, and possibly eating at maintenance (around 2200) for a while in order to jumpstart your metabolism.  It sounds like you may have hit a plateau, and often you need to change your eating patterns in order to see some changes.

You might also think about changing up your workouts...your body has likely gotten used to whatever you are doing, so changing your workouts might also help your body break the plateau.

Good luck!

kaetlynm said it all.

problem is that im afraid of eating more, I think I will gain weight, weight wich I lost with hard work. I will try to eat 1500-1600 calories / day to see what happens.

Yes, eat more!!! (That sounds wierd, doesn't it?) Smile

See, if you exercise alot and don;t eat enough to cover it, you're body will store your intake rather than using it.

how about if I exercise less, leaving olny soccer and cardio, no workout. and eat the same?

tuki23, fear of gaining weight should not be the reason you cut down on your exercise! take the advice and up your calorie level to boost your metabolism! it might freak you out at first if you can't shift the weight right away, but your body will adjust and, frankly, it needs to in ordderto be healthy :D

your level of exercise is really great and you should keep it up, especially if you are enjoying it! if you continue eating the same low cals and exercising less you will simply end up losing more muscle mass rather than burning body fat, which would not be a healthy weight loss... good luck!

thank you for everybodys advice, yesterday I managed to eat 1600 calories :) I hope this works, it is been so long that I ate this much
