.. I hate easter.

It makes me fat.
It's only 8am, and I've already eaten like, well.. a LOAD of chocolate.


.... and now I feel sick.. -.-

I know, i hate easter too.

I didn't even get lots of chocolate, as we don't celebrate it.
But i still hate it.
I hate all the chocolate everywhere when i go out, it's annoying.
I ate so much today.
I went to the beach to visit my aunt and uncle and there kids and had cake with yogurt and then chips for dinner with white bread and sauce, then more sandwiches when i got home AND a mini cadbury caramel egg.
And that's on top of my breakfast and lunch.
I feel ill now and i have a headache from all the high-fat, high-salt, high-sugary junk.

:) Detox tomorrow!

Really? I ADORE Easter! I just enjoyed a whole bunch of peanut butter M&Ms and they definitely didn't taste toxic :D

I LOVE easter! I love the colors, the egg coloring, the true meaning behind easter, and I love the dinner. 

I normally don't eat candy, so i don't have much of a problem with it!

I liked easter this year because I got two awesome easter eggs (didn't get any last year).  They're both really nice, but because I didn't get loads I don't feel too bad because I can take my time eating them and fit them into my daily calories easily =]

As for "celebrating some dude's murder" that's not what I'm celebrating because it's just a silly story to me and I don't believe it in the slightest.  I just love all the fun of easter n__n

I have had a good easter this year, I didn't binge on chocolate or anything and had a nice dinner with my family. (:

Last year I binged ALL day to the point of extreme discomfort...so a definite improvement in my eating since then.

Easter is a lovely holiday, whether you're religious or not. If you're not religious just be quiet and enjoy the chocolate :)

I enjoy Easter for spending time with my family mostly. I have felt since since about 2 pm yesterday from eating all the junk. Today, I am going to be good and go work out and hopefully feel a lot better.

And in the Bible Jesus rises from his grave, he doesn't just get murdered and thats it.. people also give thanks for him dying to "pay" for all of human's sins, I guess it's kind of like Christmas and another holiday to celebrate the fact that he existed. (Thats what you believe if you are Christian of course, I was raised Christian but am not sure what I believe, mostly in basic human decency and tolerance. )

 Easter is the celebration of the Risen Lord. Lent is the period before Easter to contemplate His life and sacrifices for all of us.

I used to love Easter up until I was about 13 when I moved away from my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. I would always go over to my grandmothers on Easter morning, and we'd have Easter egg hunts, dye eggs, eats lots of candy, and have a huge tastey dinner. We didn't do anything for Easter yesterday, but that's okay. I'm not Christian, so I don't really know why we celebrate the Christian holidays. Ah, oh well. I hope everyone's Easter was good.

haa, i specifically requested NOT to get any candy, because i don't really like it. i stash it until it goes stale anyway so my parents think it's a waste of their money.

oh and restlessgirl, it's not celebrating a "murder." not to be rude, but i would research stuff like that a bit more before making a huge assumption about someone's religious holiday, whether or not it was meant to be humorous.

I know plenty about Jesus Christ (it's hard not to), thank you.
And i wasn't starting a religious debate so you can all relax and "shut up" also.

I'm not a Christian either, but just to set some ignorance straight, Easter is the celebration of Jesus's rising from the dead, i.e. the formation of new life, which is why we even have all this crap about eggs and chicks and flowers and bunnies... because spring brings NEW LIFE.  Easter isn't Jesus' death, that's what Good Friday is about... take it from a former Catholic... And just because I'm annoyed at this thread, I'm going to throw in that I think it's stupid for people to claim that they HATE a holiday just because THEY choose to use it as an excuse to gorge on chocolate.  No one is forcing you to do that, moderation is an option for all.  So don't hate on Easter.

It is about those who dislike Easter.

And i hate Easter for many reasons, not just for the Chocolate.
I'm allowed to hate the holiday if i want to, so leave me/us alone.
