How did YOU excercise today?

So, this is kind of a companion thread to the ever so popular "Teens: What did YOU eat today?". Just...talk about how you worked out today, because I'm sure you'll all see how hard you worked today!

I'll start!

- Light ten minutes of walking/jogging/sprinting on the treadmill
-walked 2 miles outside
- did an hour of weight training for my whole body (basically did every machine in the whole gym).

- i was on an exercise bike for 10 minutes

-and i lifted weight and did cardio for an hour

Cool woohoo!

tennis for 20 minutes, walking for 10

DDR 100 calories off

and taekwondo for an hour

but i ate 2000 calories today :( (and i'm trying to work off the binge from sunday night)
15 minutes of ab exercises this morning

Then later, 35 minutes on the elliptical at a pretty high intensity

45 minutes of strength training for my whole body

And later on tonight I'm going to do about 1/2 hour of glute and leg exercises with my dumbells and hand weights.

30 mins on the elliptical

10 mins. strength training

30 mins yoga

I ran/walked my dog Lulu for about an hour. She's a good motivator! haha

today was a light day, plus it was super humid outside, so I ...

ran for 20 minutes

and did pilates for 30 minutes. : )

Plus a short walk with my mom before it started to rain on us! haha it felt good though, it was an icky day.

2 hours of Tai Chi Chuan

15 crunches (Held for 6 seconds each)

10 hip thrusts

10 Army regulation situps

10 assisted pushups

Today isn't my cardio day, doing 2 Tai Chi classes with cardio in between would be murder on the body

32 minutes exercise bike.

400 cals burned. Average 70 % HR (loving the new HRM!)

 

how do you guys have the energy or time for this?

I haven't worked out in forever. 2 crunches is an effort for me now.

I walked into town and back (around 45mins altogether)..

and then I did my made-up trampoline workout for 30 mins, and did 5 mins of sit ups (I'm not yet at a stage where I can do enough so it's worth counting...I just do it along with the music until the song is over and then I scream with pain haha)

8 miles of walking

8 HIIT intervals

full body hypertrophy split (weight training)

lifting thousands of calories of delicious peanutbutter to my mouth =)

35 mins dancing around my room to my new CD that came in the post today

50 mins Tae Bo DVD- my bum cains now! XO

well today wasn't so good because of yesterday and now I'm sore.... but yesterday I ran a mile for P.E. and then did these jump exercises and warm up exercises as well. And then at home I played a lot with the puppies and did the stair stepper for about 16 min (burning off my entire dinner of 300 cal, in that time). As for today I went on the stair stepper for 10 min and played with the puppies a little bit today, but I have been feeling sick so i cant do much exercise.

Lets see I...

woke up and ran 3 miles

rode my bike to the library (45 min.?)

swam 2 miles

played tennis for 1 hr. with my mom

walked my dog 10 min.

It was a super duper day! I usually dont do THIS much!

it's hard to get exercise in my routine. i didn't do anything today but yesterday i:

did the first step in the couch to 5k program. spectacular!

lifted weights for 1/2 hour.

other than that I sit at a desk all day, considering i work in a legal office, i can't get much exercise that way. 

-45 minute step class at my gym

-45 minute toning class right after.

my legs are killing me, but it was so worth it.

I just ran a mile today, but I'm going to play some Wii Boxing later because I ate pretty badly today heh.

today was heavy cardio day with no weights. so i did a split.

early afternoon: 60 mins on the treadmill rotating running for 10 mins then walking on an incline for 10 mins.

after dinner: 30 minutes on the stairmaster


don't worry... this cardio craziness only occurs once a week. lol i know it seems like a lot.

no dance class today, I went walking/jogging/sprinting today for two miles [I walk, jog, and sprint alternately. it's fun. people at the park look at me funny. :P] and had the warm up walk there and the cool down walk home.


On different days I dance to music, take a ballet class, do ab workouts, or jump rope and ride bike if it's getting late and I can't go run. try to mix it up. :)

i did kickbox jam today and lifted weights for about 20 minutes burned off like 700 calories!! im loving my new polar heart rate monitor..it is awesome!
