How did YOU excercise today?
So, this is kind of a companion thread to the ever so popular "Teens: What did YOU eat today?". Just...talk about how you worked out today, because I'm sure you'll all see how hard you worked today!
I'll start!
- Light ten minutes of walking/jogging/sprinting on the treadmill
-walked 2 miles outside
- did an hour of weight training for my whole body (basically did every machine in the whole gym).
then i did about 50 bicycle crunches
but my major exercise today was having to walk home from work, which took an hour and a half. haha of course it just so happened that i was wearing kinda short shorts and a tank top. and now i'm so sunburnt. good exercise though, lol.
oh, and i was also playing around in the ocean at the beach
edit: at first i said i did "5 bicycle crunches", psh, that's nothin (:
30 minutes of jump and strength training from this dvd my crazy coach gave the team.
then 10 minutes of core exercising
1 1/2 hours of basketball practice
then I ran about 2 1/4 miles with some of my basketball teammates after practice.
1. ran 10k [about 50 minutes]
2. soccer practice 1.5 hours
3. core/ab workout
Yesterday:
-volleyball practice for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. (more than half of the time it was all conditioning then the rest was volleyball.)
- walking for about 2 hours
- Hour of total body strength training
- Walked a little over 2 miles
- Going for a 3 mileish run later
1 hour cycling and 1 hour hiking, now I'm sweaty like a pig and starving like a wolf :)
- 40 minutes on treadmill (10 minutes jogging, 30 minutes very brisk walking)
- 1 hour of walking outside
- 35 minutes of swimming breaststroke
- 45 minutes of strength training and stretches
Went to my favorite place in the world, the gym :)
(getting over a knee "injury" and am not able to run although running is my favorite thing to do at the gym. I was too hard on my knee while in the midst of an eating disorder. i have gone to an orthopedist who has said that I am still growing and the constant pounding on my growing bones and tendons has caused the problems.)
8 miles on the bike 2 miles on the elliptical
Abs(50+crunches)
stretching (my knee)
TOTAL AT THE GYM: 45 minutes at like least......but I played some bball and swam a little bit with my brothers
rested....
25 minutes on the octane machine (kinda like an elliptical)
10 minutes on the stairmaster
5 mins of ab work.
- Danced with weighted gloves all afternoon! =)
- 45 minute brisk walk.
- Some random weight lifting.
- Cleaned the house!
- 1 hour very brisk walking
- 10 minutes of running
Not to much, but I am babysitting all day today...so I can't do so much.
10 minutes hard running on the tredmill
45 minutes weight training (various machines)
6 minutes on the bike
soccer practice 1 hour 30 minutes
