Excessive Sweating?

Quote  |  Reply
I use to take fat burner pills before I work out and when I do I sweat like CRAZY  (maybe double than I use to).  Not only that, but when I do minor things like walk up a very shallow inclined hills or carrying a watermellon at a supermarket, I sweat a LOT still.  However, I think it's been two weeks since I stopped taking the pills and now I'm working out w/o them and I feel 'healthier' fortunately.  The thing is, I still sweat a lot more than usual.  I work at a casino dealing cards in an a/c room and even when I do something so minor like dealing cards I find it sometimes I just start sweating like there's no tommorow.  It doesn't happen all the time, just certain times.  I check my heart rate and it seems normal but I just can't stop sweating.  Usually I don't care but it gets kind of embarrassing sometimes when I go out and when I talk to someone, sweat just starts balling down my face.  I know it's not fatigue either.  Wierd eh?

Does anyone else have this problem?  I must exercise twice a day usually 40 minutes each time on the treadmill (jogging and speed walking).  I know i'm eating right now too.  I don't get it.

P.S. Maybe I should note also that the past week I've sort of put myself under house arrest concentrating on just exercising, some weights and eating right.

I sort of have the same problem, although I think its a natural occurence. If I go jogging on a hot/humid day I'll sweat like mad, I mean dripping. Now if I do the same workout on a slightly cooler day or even with a breeze I will not drip any sweat.

Could it possibly be the weather you live in? Just a thought....

That would explain why I sweat more when I work out but I sweat even when I'm in rooms with a/c (eg. supermarkets and work).

meh
It could be Hyperhidrosis. Check out this thread from a little while ago. I have the same thing. It appeared out of no where about 5-6 years ago. Hope this helps a bit.
