Exchange Meal Plan?? Recommendations PLEASE!!
Hi
does anyone have a sample 2500 calorie meal plan based on exchange system - i think this will work well for me. If i know i have to have 1 carb and 1 fat etc - i will definately stick with it and will not have to worry about counting. My dietician has only given me a basic plan ie breakfast 1 serve of bread/cereal + 1 fruit + 1 dairy, lunch 1 bread/cereal + fruit and then dinner 2 bread/cereal + 1 dairy. I don't think it is 2500 calories though and I'm not too sure about snacks though or what i should be aiming for?
Also what combination of food groups are best to eat together?
Thank you:)

Hi thanks for the link but its not working....i get an error message.....
y dont u just look at the thread above titled what did u eat or u can just google or search it online however ud like. .everyone on the thread is eating a minimum of 2500, just look at them.
In terms of combinations of food groups, it doesn't really matter - it's good to get a variety & eat from all the food groups.
In terms of exchange meal plans, just google around. I googled diabetic exchange 2500 calorie meal plan and found some links that might help (the exchange system was originally developed for diabetics, but it's the same one used for EDs and everyone else)
This link looks the best to me:

Why not visit a nutritionist? It would be a more reliable source for a meal plan than an internet forum.
