So excited I have to share my news.......
I just have to share my excitement!!! I am officially down 18lbs from when I started this journey almost 6 weeks ago. I weighed 208 on Jan 21st, today I am at 190!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never had so much success as I have using this site!!!! I feel better about myself than I have in a long, long time!!!
Thank you to everyone for their words of support and encouragement!!!

Wow! this is encouraging. I just started the other day and I have lost about two pounds.
Congrats!
That is wonderful. I hope I can do as well! Can you tell me how many calories you take in a day versus how many your burn? I am new to this site and trying to figure that out.
Thanks
B'Lienne
I would love to share "my tips"!!! Honestly, this has not been that hard at all and If I can do this I really believe anyone can!!!
On avg, I eat around 1300 calories a day. I have completely cut soda out of my diet, all I drink now is water. I drink 3 bottles of water during my day at work and 2 in the evening at home. So approx 84 oz a day. If I have time in the morning I will have oatmeal or a small bowl of cereal, but most of the days I am running late so I grab a slimfast shake and drink it on the way to work. Mid morning I have some fruit, an orange or a banana. For lunch its usually a weight watchers meal or a sandwich on whole wheat bread, no cheese...just meat and a little "i can't believe its not butter", some yogurt or a string cheese. Mid afternoon I'll have a protein bar or more fruit. For dinner I've starting cooking more healthy for the whole family, using fresh veggies, whole wheat pasta ect. I also will use a small plate, instead of a dinner plate, for my portion control. For dessert I usually will have a sugar free, low cal pudding cup, either chocolate or vanilla (only 45 cals!) I also found eatting slower to help a lot!
For exercise, every morning I walk on the treadmill anywhere from 30-60mins. Tues and Thurs night I have a weight resistance/cardio/ab class at our community center for one hour. It is not extremely strenous, I really like it.
On my most active days I believe I burn about 2400 calories, I always try to aim for 1300 calories. I just try to use common sense, if I don't do as much one day I'll cut back a little on my cals, if I have an extreme day I'll eat some more fruit, veggies or maybe a piece of bread with peanut butter on it.
I think thats about it!
Tracy
Congratulations, Deco4! Great job!
