Okay, so I'm 16, and i exercise 5 days a week (a mix of cardio and strength). I consume 1600-1800 calories a day. However, I'm never hungry on exercise days and always starving on rest days, so I end up eating 1600 on exercise, and 1800 on my two rest days. Is this okay? Does it even out? Or should I try to eat more on my workout days even though exercise seems to supress my apetite? I'm really trying to start focusing more on my hunger signals so I don't want to eat when I'm not hungry, but I will if its better for me.

I just want to be sure I'm fueling my body properly.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Yeah exercise tends to suppress your appetite in general. Although it varies from person to person etc. Heck some days after some intense exercise I would eat anything in sight. :)

What kind of exercise are you doing, what is the intensity and duration? I think for someone your age you are not eating enough.
