What Exercise Do You Enjoy The Most?
I am just getting into my exercise routine. I have been doing some stretching/strengthening and I really enjoy it. I hate the crunches.

Favorite: Rollerblading and Yoga
Least Favorite: Anything outside when it's too hot, it just seems like too much work then....

the crunches- I love them! I know Im weird! I also love working my arms and legs!
Sumo squats and working my biceps and triceps.
Im a weirdo! I like to feel the pain, that way I know Im doing it right!

ok, for serious, I guess I like taking the pup out for a walk when I know the weather is nice and the sun isn't going to scorch me.
I used to love going to the gym and working free weights. Wish I knew where that motivation went!

I agree, I love walking my dog. When the day comes that I dont want to walk her, I know I have to 'cause she will be restless all day. So she's my little motivator.
Disc golf and hiking.
Though jogging on the treadmill gives me a great "runners high."

I enjoy walking, especially during my lunch hour. Its a great opportunity to get out of the office and the park is a 5 min walk away, great on beautiful crisp winter days like today. When I was going to the gym I also liked the seated row weight machine. I felt so strong cos I could lift so much weight with it! haha.
My least fav would definitly be rowing machines.. 5 minutes on those things and I'm dead.

k I guess I dont consider hiking as exercise because I love it so much so that is better than crunches

sick i know, but i love running hills, and where i live, it's not really an option to skip them. literally from my house it's up hill in any direction. and it's not just my area of town, the region we're in, the palouse, is all gently rolling hills and it's beautiful. but i liked hills before i moved here. there isn't much i don't like exercise wise. i also really like the rowing machine. i'd rather just have a boat and row, but i'll take the machine. i guess i don't like the free weights so much. weight machines are ok, but having to put weights on the bar just isn't my thing.
Rollerblading totally, and as for crunches, they are like my best exercise, i can do about 500 in one sitting but i hope i can get to 700 by the end of June, i know i'm totally wierd.

push-ups, kay i am so weak i can barely do 10, i know no upper body strenght... sigh
ooh and you know what really burns calories + is super fun, pole dancing, no seriously it's amazing and it really tones your body, plus it gives you way moe confidence. try it, i totally recomend it :)

I go to a class here called "glow aerobics"... which is really just a hip hop class. What is unique about it is the fact that they turn off all of the flourescent lights and turn on club style lighting. It gives more of an atmosphere of going out dancing!!! I love, love, love this class and go to it 5 nights a week!
Once it gets hot enough, I'll be out swimming in the river here a few times a week too! My entire family goes, it's half swimming, half doing battle with the other people who are out on the river. (most of them are actually in rafts) We swim it and take our water cannons and fight from the water... it is soooo much fun.
I think the key thing for me is that I need to have an element of fun in my exercise and I can make anything fun if I can share it with people I love. Luckily, my Mom and 1-3 of my friends go to glow with me every night and when we swim the river it's my husband and kids. It's all fun, makes it so easy to do!!!
I don't know that I can say what I hate right now... I have tried not to have those kinds of thoughts as I don't think they will serve me well in my quest for fitness. :-)

The weirdest exercises (I think) are anything on a stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical, stair stepper, etc . . . I do them, except the treadmill (too weird, walking in one place), but I always feel self-conscious.

TENNIS!!
Just started playing again. Used to when I was younger! If the courts are full we go play against a wall.. I prefer that actually than the court! You have to hit the ball harder and nothing is ever out of bounds! so you are running around like a mad dog!

I love the elliptical, swimming cycling and weight lifting...I LOVE weight lifing. Dancing when I go out with my friends is also great!
I HATE running. I wish I liked it but I always get terrible shin splints so it's just not worth it. Mountan climbers are pretty bad too. Has anyone else done them?

My favorites are REAL bicycling, have some real nice trails by my house that brings you through the woods (have seen dear!) and crosses over a small dam on the missisippi, just so beatiful!
Oh, and my other favorite is weight lifting, but only my upper body, I don't like working on my lower body, I don't like squats, hamstring curls, ect.

Mobaby - Yeah I've done mountain climbers, those are brutal! They make me feel like I'm completely out of shape. We used to do them as part of our fitness testing in kickboxing along with deep knee bends (squats), sit-ups, push-ups, supermans and jumping jacks... they always lowered my score :(
