So, I actually ran this morning! Yea! And then after I ran I was checking out Calorie Count under the Tools section to see how soon I could reach my goal weight if I was "very active." I would be very active if I ran everyday, right? And I could be at my goal weight a couple of months sooner...if that isn't motivation....

I wonder if I'll ever actually like to run...

I read somewhere that exercise keeps your metabolism up...anyone know if that's true? And I'm still wondering if I'd be considered "very active" if I ran...I'm only running for about 30 or 40 minutes....I exercised for 45...but I had a warm up and a cool down...

Woowoo! It's still drizzly there, too, isn't it?

The last thing I want to do is take away any encouragement, but I THINK it wouldn't put you in the "very active" category simply because of all the time you spend at school. Kind of like even if I did a ton of exercise every daybefore and after work, I would need to keep mine at sedentary because I work 8 hours every day in an office, whereas someone like my bf spends his entire workday building and installing cabinets, so he is "very active" during the majority of his day.

Check out this article: http://ezinearticles.com/?Exercises-To-Boost- Your-Metabolism&id=301635

According to that, not only does exercise boost your metabolism, but you are also doing it at the ideal time of day to burn stored fat!

On the bright side, when you log your running, you will see that date move up too!

That's what I was thinking--about "very active." It said "if you participate in running everyday" or something like that...but I do spend a lot of time sitting...still...I will lose weight faster though.

Oh, and the rain has stopped. It's sunny here now. I HAVE to run in the morning if I'm going to do it outside, because it gets so hot here! I'm originally from Chicago so I don't have good heat resistance! haha.

But I don't think if you exercises a lot you would still be "sedentary" it says if you walk for less than two hours you'd be in the second category...but it doesn't really matter what category you choose...that doesn't affect your weight loss...it really only counts what you do in reality!

That article is excellent! Sweet...yes...that is motivation! Thanks so much for finding it!
