exercise little and often?

Quote  |  Reply
I heard somewhere that exercise spikes your metabolism as well as burning calories, so if you got the chance, would it be a good idea to exersise 6-7 times a day but only for 10 or so minutes at a time?

It might not be practicle, but if it works and i get the chance then I think it would be a good idea.  After all, the same principal applies to eating right?

I don't think so, you'd only have time to warm up if you try to go for jsut 10 minutes, and not get to the meat of your workout, I dunno, just my thoughts on it.
the same Principal doesn't to exercise. Exercise will boost your metabolism over time, doing just 10 minute routines will do nothing for your metabolism.
still though, I can burn about 150 calories in 10 minutes without gettin tired, so maybe it would be good once in a while, to do a day with just short bursts of exercise to shake up my normal routine?
whatever floats your boat, if you can manage to burn150 calories in ten minutes, which to me sounds pretty tough to do, it still won't do anything for your body composition, your body doesn't even start to burn fat until 12-15 minutes into a workout.
iaxxi, that was my plan to, 10 min 3 times a day in intervals, i heard about Hiit, but know im not so sure, its confusing
