exercise question--help please!!!
So if I took a aerobics/anaerobics interval class (1hr) and pilates (1hr) on monday, alternated jogging/walking for 45 mins on the treadmill plus 20 mins. strength training tuesday, yoga thursday, elliptical/strength on friday, then a strength/cardio class saturday (1.5 hrs), is that enough/too much?
Too much/enough for what? Your budget? Your time allotted to work out? Your fitness goal?
The important question is how do YOU feel about it?
That is a nice varied routine with some good calorie burning sessions. Does that work in your schedule? Is this something you enjoy and will look forward to and therefore continue to keep up with.
If you aren't exhausted and are enjoying the work then I don't think it's too much. If you are overly sore and stressed and too tired to function in other areas of your life... then you should rethink your exercise routine.
The goal is to become more fit, burn more calories and develop a routine you can continue to do while enjoying it! So, what do you think about your exercise?

If your goal is maintenance, then you just need to make sure you increase your calories to account for the burn from you exercise.
