What exercise did you do today?

What was your work out today?  This is what I've done so far:

1 hour on cybex arctrainer (3.5 miles, burned over 700 calories)

100 tricep dips

3 sets of 10 bench press (50 lbs)

2 sets of 250 bicycle crunches

What about you?

Today will be a 90 minute run, then an hour core DVD (P90X), and ideally a 1.5km swim - but I'm not sure I'll be able to get to the pool.

80 minutes of 6 km/h walking :)

Mentally I've got to the gym at least 4 times today. Does that count?

Tomorrow will be a better day!!

Wow!  Ya'll are all super energetic today.  I ran for about 30 minutes and walked about 30 minutes.  I shaved another 30 seconds off my 1.5 mile time so I'm feeling pretty good Cool

Sundays are my rest days...I get my workouts in Mon -Sat.

jeez, lol, i have to sort of hope/think that some of the answers on this thread and the entire Fitness forum are a BIT skewed towards those who are more into fitness compared to the average person.  i mean, 700 calories burned, doing 3 intense type of cardio in 1 day?? never, not me or most of the ppl i know at least.  so i have to think that the amounts listed on this forum, while its totally fine and whatever if ur healthy, isnt necessaraly the norm or what is needed to be a healthy, fit, and person at a reasonable weight.

after all that i did-

25mins slow jog

 

Played with my three nieces (ages 4 through 8) from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m.  Including planting an herb garden, walking to the park, climbing on the jungle gym, pushing on the swings, walking through the entire neighborhood so they could show me all the houses they like best, picking flowers (aka:  weeds) in the field behind the neighborhood, and playing wii Baseball for an hour.  I had every intention of taking the dogs on a hike when I got home, but instead I took hubby to pick up his car, went to the grocery store and now am making dinner...I think I'm DONE (and VERY appreciative of all the mothers out there)!   Does any of this count?  

T LEGGE-  yes! deff counts! excercise doesnt need to be structured, activity is activity, u were deff very active!

30 minutes of rollerblading outside.

ohhh how i love that the weather is starting to get  nice, especially with the sun coming out!! :)

Thanks, Agruskin.  I sure feel like I had a workout today!! LOL!  But it was fun and totally worth it.  

Overhead snatch squats 5x5

Jerks 5x5

Behind the neck snatch jerks 3x3

shoulder press 3x6

we got some energetic peep up in here :-)

As the Bangles said..."Sunday is my fun day" or for me...my fun RUN day.  And, run I did, 18.4 miles.  Only day of the week I can get a long run in.

Today, I played a little basketball with my kids (Horse), then we played miniature golf. We would have hit the batting cages but we ran out of time as we were meeting my parents for dinner.

Now, for the structured stuff. Once we came home, I did the Turbo Jam cardio party DVD. I'm exhausted! I think I'll go to bed.

Couple hours on my bike. I got a flat 7 minutes in to a race, so just went for a training ride when I got back to a car. :(

4 mile run, 35 minutes pilates. averaged about 9 minutes per mile. not so stellar but i'm getting there :)

how much do you eat on days that you run like this?i can't imagine...that's nearly a marathon. 

A twelve mile hill run at 9 minutes each mile!

Humm this weekend (friday night included) I've done around 24- hours of dance... well not straight, but on and off, practicing and then performing (I had 6 shows to do + Rehearsals and all!!)

6-6:30 hours on friday (From 5:45 to 11:45 pm)

12-13h on saturday (from 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM!!!)

8-9h today (from 2pm to 10:30 pm)

 

Whew I'm DEAD But I had sooo much fun!!! It was all worth it

Today was my first day-

I first started with 20 minutes of wii fit- hula hoop and super hula hoop and several other yoga/strength positions but I felt so motivated to do more so I decided to do Slim in 60 Start it up which is about 25 minutes too.

Am I sore! Keep it up, everyone else :)

   

I spent one hour of weight Lifting - (Free Weight Nautilus or Universal-type),

and run 1Km on the tread mill plus extra walking here and there.
