I'm going to start of with yesterdays because I'm not going to exercise until tonight I went up to my school and did 10 min on the stair master and 15 on the treadmill I should of started off with the treadmill first I didnt know the stair master was so difficult

Yesterday it was raining too hard to walk, so I did indoor stairs for 25 minutes.  Drenched in sweat.

Today I'll be going for at least a 3 mile walk, plus I'll do 200 bodyweight exercises:

40 jumping jack, 40 normal pushups, 40 squats, 40 lunges, 20 close grip pushups, 20 wide grip pushups.

Today, me and Leon walked about 3kms to feed the horses some apples!! We walked up hills and down and on flat surfaces. It was great!

Just me -

Are the horses yours? If so I am soooooo jealous!

Oh noooo, the farmer's down the street : - )

Hey Luv,  I'm glad you started this thread :).

Today is actually my day off exercise, my clean the house day.  Yesterday was a yoga day though,  90 minutes of Bikram Yoga.  I was doubly happy cause I spent about a half hour telling myself that I wasn't going to go then the BF sent me a text that said "have fun at class" and I put on my clothes and went  I felt so proud of myself after class I was ready to burst.

Good for you peaceapple! By the way don't discount the value of housework for as your daily activity. I just did a whole spring cleaning in October (we have had the flu) and I burnt a ton of calories. Depending on the size of your house and the kind of housework you had to do, you might have burned 300+ calories over what it takes just to live.

Also while you are working put on some upbeat music and dance a little to the beat. Even more calories - and you get to have some fun with the drudgery! A win/win in my book.

I proud of every one for getting up and moving but yea peaceapple house work is as good as any exercise if your as big as me I was sweating my buns off when I clean the house but I hope people come and even write about taking the dog for a walk as long as your moving and not being a couch potato is good

Today I did a 1 mile walk in 15 min on the TV if you have Time-Warner cable you can go to 724 on demand and exercise

Yesterday I got on the treadmill for 40 mins at 3mph and then did 150 crunches and 5 different exercises with my 3lb weights (2/20 for each one).

Today I got up and did the gym.  I go to Curves and did my Smart Machine work out and burned 609 calories.

No wonder I am hungry...time for some breakfast!

1 hr on the gazell and 30 mins on my bike then 30 mins water areobics in the pool but the pool is now closed lol got my gas bill so till bout April next yr. will just be the gazell and bike and the bowflex,  havent used the bowflex but once yet, hubby loves it so I will miss the pool but the march goes on GL E1

Today is an off day so I will do last night...went to gym and did 4 supersets for back/triceps/biceps/chest.  For 60 minutes we kept it going and pushed, keeping heart rate up and muscles burning.

Supersets:

1.) Did a chest/bench press pyramid.  10 reps with empty bar (eqaul to 45 pounds). Into 20 reps with 65 pounds, 15 reps with 85 pounds, 10 reps with 105 pounds, 8 reps with 125 pounds, then back to 105 pounds for 7 reps, 85 pounds for 10 reps and 65 pounds for 20 reps.  It is a total burn out excercise not because of weight but because of reps and little rest between sets.

2.) Second superset was three sets of skull crushers (30 pounds for 12 reps) to push outs with same 30 pounds for 20 reps to bicep curls with 40 pounds for 10 reps.  Did three sets of these.

3.) Third superset included preacher curls with 50 pounds for 12 reps, to kick backs 10 reps each arm with 20 pounds to reverse curls for 10 reps and 30 pounds.  Did three sets of this superset.

4.) Final superset included close grip, standing lat pull down with 70 pounds for 12 reps, to bent over cable rows with 50 pounds for 12 reps to behind the back straight bar on cable tricep push downs (mimics bench dips) with 70 pouinds for 20 reps.  Also did three sets of this.

Didn't have time to do cardio because gym closed at 9:00pm.  Did 5 minutes warmup at 3.5 for a total .25 miles.  Will go to gym tomorrow and do an ab routine and cardio.

Ended up not doing the calisthenics.  Instead, I did 3 miles alternating walking and jogging.  I'd jog for a block, walk a black.  Jog past 2 light posts, walk past 2, etc.

It was easier than I thought it would be, but man I am feeling it today.

I just ate lunch, and after I carve a couple of pumpkins, I'm going to go on a hike/walk.  It's a paved path, but it's in the woods and extremely hilly.

Then, of course, I'll be walking tonight for the trick or treating.

nothing today. I have tendonitis in my achilles tendon and a stress fracture.  My friend, a podiatrist.made me promise I would take it easy or he would personally come over and kick my behind. I don't want that!

He said I have been over doing it, duh. lol

Flirtin mom

The only cure for tendonitis is rest.

My exercise today....there is an Octoberfest downtown today, hubbie and I walked several blocks.  (Of course I wanted a corndog, but I ended up getting a barbecue sandwich...lots of calories, but I have planned for it).

Plus it's laundry day.  Will take laundry to the laundromat...and housecleaning.  More activity, not really exercise.

Today I did no exercise because I was at work from 12 until 9:30 but only time I set down was during lunch and I do alot of back and forth walking I had my pedometer on i took 10,981 steps only at work so I guess that was my work out.

Holy crap, that was some hill.  I made it further along that trail than I had before, and the hill I thought was bad was nothing compared to the one after it.

Pushed on past it and got soaked at a water crossing before turning back (and getting even wetter).

Got back in time to take the kids out for trick or treating.  Walked my son into the ground after an hour.  I was pushing him to get more candy, but he was beat.

wow you do great with walking I can only brisk walk for 30 mins witch is 2 miles a day my goal is to be able to jog by the next six months

Congratulations on being able to out walk your kid - Now there is a goal!! They have so much excess energy, I get tired just watching them much less trying to keep up.
