Exercises for Bigger Chested Women

Quote  |  Reply
I've always had trouble with running, jump-rope, all that because I'm bigger on top.

I used to bicycle, but now I live in an area without any trails or concrete, so I really don't have a place to bike anymore.

I do yoga and strength training, but I really enjoy cardio more.

Does anyone know of anything that will work?

Thanks ahead of time!

Aloha,  I have the same problem !!! What I have found that works for me is. get yourself a couple of sauna belts from WalMart. ( yes it takes a couple for me to get complete coverage... LOL ) They are relatively inexpensive. Bind yourself up, overlapping them around the chest area, pretty tightly, but be comfortable. ( don't forget your usual undergarments as well ) The belts support and minimize so that you can do your cardio, with no problems. A plus to using them is it also seems to help shrink that area.
I am very large on top too--I use the elliptical machine for cardio.
Same problem here.  I do the step aerobics videos and wear a tight fitting sports bra and workout top.  The step aerobics videos don't seem to have as much bouncing around as other cardio videos.

Hi,

I'm a 34F and have found a great sports bra which I us to go for runs. You should check it out. It really does control the bouncing.

I am in Canada and have found this bra (get support level 4) where all larger sized specialty bras are sold, so usually expensive lingerie stores. Mine cost me around 100$ and was well worth the expense.

I am a 36FF, and I was going to suggest the bra above, but she beat me to it :) It's pretty effective, and for running or jumping (like during aerobics) I put on a regular bra underneath it. (I got mine for about 50 bucks I think)

Bendon also makes an awesome-looking one I want to try.

The idea about binding your boobs with sauna belts is a baaaaad idea - squishing your senstive breast tissue leads to the same things that jumping rope with out a bra does - damage, internal bruising, and major loss of elasticity leading to DROOPING!!!

Ah! Thanks for all the suggestions, especially that bra. I'll have to give it a try.
