How are you exercising?!
Hello! I'm just wondering how everyone is exercising, how many calories you eat a day and what their goal is!
I am 5'7 3/4 in height and weigh 187. I was 190 last week and have been doing crunches, free weight, jumping jacks, and running in place!!
I have been trying to eat the most: 1800 calories a day. Is that okay?
And I hope to be about 150 by November 30th... my 20th birthday!
I'm personally doing the P90X Lean version.I exercise 6 days a week, burn about 600-700 calories per workout and I eat 1200-1300 calories a day, with a 50/30/20, which would be 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fats.
I'm 5'1, 154, 23 yr. I have lost 1.5 inches from my waist and 3 pounds in the last 2 weeks following this process. I am never hungry, in fact, I eat a lot of food that I can't finish it at times. I eat a lot of chicken, turkey, salmon, tuna, veggies, beans, and water.
As for your 27 pound loss for November 30, you may struggle a lot because that will be very hard to get to. I am planning to be 133-137lbs by November 29 and I think that's pushing it.
Good luck in your weight loss, just remember to ignore the scale, and pay attention to how your clothes fit and measure yourself with tape.
I have an aerobics class at school. The teacher is old, but really in-shape, so it's intense and I love the variety. Other than that, I walk a lot. I use the treadmill every couple days (need to start doing it more) and I wander and pace a lot.
I vary my calories. I figure that's okay, because I don't want my body to get used to what I'm doing and I don't think it's effective to eat the same things all the time. Without exercise I burn almost 2400 calories a day, and I try to keep my calories under 2000. My calorie count for the past 22 days is 2029, which scares me, but there were a few extreme days that are responsible, and I'll just have to keep going. :) I like to be between 1600-1800.
I have a few goals, though I'm lenient. I'd love to be to 200 by my birthday in May. If that happens, I then want to be in my healthy weight range by Xmas. Best case scenario I can be about 145-150 pounds by then.
I'm male, 32, 5' 9", 168.9 pounds (1 pound from a normal BMI ). I made a goal of normal BMI which is 168.0 pounds for me by September 30th. (ALMOST THERE!!!)
I eat anywhere from 1500 to 1700 calories a day. My BMR is currently 2060.
For exercise I run 5 miles, do HIIT for 10 minutes (4 intervals) then run 5 more miles. That's a heavy day. On a light day I just walk 1.88 miles and run 3.12 miles (5k).
Also on days when it's raining and I can't run outside I do workouts on EA Sports Active on my wii.
I am 34, 5'3, 178.4 pounds. At the moment, I am eating 1300-1400 calories. I eat a clean diet. I have changed my calories breakdown to arange, Carbs 45-65%, Protein 35-55%, and Fat 20-35% on any given day. I drink 3 liters of water a day. I run 2 miles, three times a week. Yoga once a week. I walk a lot, and I am on my 21day of doing the 30 day shred dvd. I have lost almost 8 pounds in four weeks. I will change my workout once I finish the dvd in order to challenge myself and not plateau.
Male, 20, 69", 163ishlbs. I don't keep track of weight though, I just happened to weigh myself yesterday. Instead, I rely on the mirror and how my clothes fit. More accurate, IMO.
I was shooting for 2000cals a day. I got lazy though, now I just guess. Easier and less stressful for me.
Run 3x a week, spin class 2x week, swim once a week and lift weights 4x a week. I only go to the gym 4x a week for this.
I'm not focusing on pounds lost, just bodyfat and getting lean-er.

Im 156lb ( currently), 5'8" & 32. I started off losing weight when I hit 168. I lost 3 myself & then though the wonders of Google found this site 11th Aug. I started off walking 30 min a day. Im nw up to 4 x 20 min walks & 30 min wii aerobics a day. Then 2 days I do aqua class & 2 days another 1 hour walk. I was eating 1200 kcal max & hit a platau. Couldnt get below 158 for about 2 & 1/2 to 3 weeks. I increased to 1450 2 days ago & it fell to 156 TG. I geneally will do an hour or 2 in the garden too for an extra burn. I try & vary it as much as possible. Im doing a challenge on this this site walk 100 miles in a month. In this i also signed up for 100 planks, 1000 sit ups & 100 push ups. Im not doing to well at these so must get back into the swing of it..I want to get to 140 by November but thanks to my weeks of being stuck I dont think that is possible or healthy to lose it that week. Im going to Mexico in 9 weeks so to be honest if I lost another 9 lb by then i will be really happy.

i am 16 yo 5'4", 125 lbs, and am about to restart 10-Minute Trainer doing the 3-a-day plan and eating around 1800 calories per day. I want to lose maybe 10-20 lbs, but mostly tone up and lose inches. I guess for number's sake I'd like to be about 110 by this December or November. DEFINITELY before 2010!

I am 5ft 5, was 210 pounds, now 160 pounds and have only been doing walking as my exercise. Nothing else, do up to 6 miles a day during the week and around 2-4 miles a day in the weekends. Started off eating around 1800 cals but currently eating 1600 per day.
Was eating 1350 but have upped it as not as worried about losing now and more aiming to maintain and become stable weight wise.
I take Irish dance 2 days a week and ballet 1 day a week (total of 5 hrs/week). The days when I don't have dance I usually go to the gym and do about 30-45 min of cardio and some weights. I also burn a lot of calories at my job because I'm on my feet and moving around all day.
I'm about 5'8" and weigh 135 right now, but I yo-yo a lot, so my weight doesn't really say anything. I aim for about 1200-1400 calories a day.
