It seems weird, but working out makes some of the soreness go away.  I just don't work the same groups of muscles two days in a row.

You can, if weight training try to focus on a different muscle group. If you are running, stretch and warm-up properly and all should be fine.

it's weird, but exercising with sore muscles actually helps make the pain go away faster. the pain in the muscles is due to a buildup of lactic acid in the muscles... and when you work out it helps get rid of it

When my muscles are sore, I sill work them. I just dont work them to failure or push those muscle groups (the main cause of said soreness). Its okay to try and go a rep or a minute before failure. Remember to respect yourself.

I think it's perfectly okay, just don't push yourself too hard. My boyfriend thinks you'll hurt yourself even more if you exercise with sore muscles, though.

I light "recovery" workout with the sore muscle group helps release the lactic acid that has built up.  This is a good thing, but I agree with everyone else.  If you are going to do a "serious" workout, then focus on another group of muscles.

Working out with soreness = yay.  Working out with pain = nay.
