i am exhausted!

i probably posted in the wrong section... but over my winter break, i have been working from 6:30am to about 3pm 5 days a week standing all day and lifting things, walkign around, rarely sitting down (working at a restaurant). basically i am fairly active during my job and am exhausted by the time i get home... i usually take a nap but otherwise, i really have been lightly exercising (1-3 days of 40-45 minute cardio) as opposed to the usual 4-5 days of heavy cardio when i'm at school. i guess i shouldn't feel guilty because i've been maintaining at 111-112 pounds eating between 1300-1700 calories or so which is fine because i haven't gained really. but people always say that you should exercise even in maintenance so i feel a bit guilty in terms of health and not weight loss (okay defintiely posted in the wrong section sorry) because i'm not used to being sedentary. would taking a break be bad in terms of my health and well-being?

1300-1700 isn't a maintenance amount for someone your size, and age (school?) with an active job and exercising on top.  If you're feeling exhausted (as per title) then you're probably lacking in nutrients and energy because of your poor diet.  If you're persistently undereating you'll feel terrible mentally as well.   If you're maintaining at 1300-1700 all you've done is severely slow down your metabolism. If you're feeling 'guilty' about your health try increasing to more like 2000-2200 a day.... the amount of exercise you're doing is fine.
