You know the athletes (like, olympic level) with extremely low body fat? How is that still considered healthy? For example, the elite triathletes have extremely low bf% (I mean, look at them!), would the women still get their periods at that point? Would it be considered healthy?

At this level there are several things to consider and it's really a matter of weighing the benefits vs negatives. Having a very low body fat can be a negative and isn't necessarily the healthiest, but being an elite endurance athlete they are also very fit and very active and likely eat extremely well.
I would say the benefits outweigh the risks.
