For all the eyeliner users out there, which one do you think is the best?
And how exactly do you apply it?

I've heared that MAX Fator is good....

i use covergirl outlast smoothwear. i apply it to my bottom lashline, not the inner rim of my eye, just right over the lashes pretty much.

when i'm going out for a night or something, i'll line along my top lashes too.

i recently got bobbi brown's gel liner. comes with a very fine brush & i can apply a nice sweep the easiest i've ever done, doesn't clump, goes on where you put it, etc.

i tried it first before taking a hot bath, just to see how well it would stay. didn't stay too well. however i tried it again before a wedding and i think once it sets, it seems to stay on forever.

the wedding celebrations lasted 24 hours (ugh), maybe it could've stayed on longer but i needed to sleep. washes off easily enough too. its a little expensive tho & right now only 2 colours, brown & black.

I love the eyeliner pencil from ELF.  It is soft and goes on easily.  Used to use a liquid liner but I find the pencil does a nicer job and comes off w/ a softer look for me.

I use either prestige black eyeliner or I use maybeline brownish black.

Prestige. It works woooonderfully, with no smear.

NYC Kohl liner pencil in black, line the inner rim of both top and bottom lash lines.

Ehh, I have two kohl liners from Avon that I use for my lower lid (across the lashes, usually more in the outer corners of my eyes and smudge it towards the centre), and a liquid for the upper lid.

I prefer the application of my Revlon liquid liner, it was more of a really flexible felt tip marker, but I think right now I've got Wet n Wild liquid liner with the blunt, firm tip.  Both work just as well, only one is seven dollars and the other is two dollars.

I never have a problem with smudging, really.  If it's going to be a particularly hot event and I want to wear liner on the lower lids, I'll set it with black eyeshadow.  Doesn't budge.

I also use one by Avon, it's got a twisty bottom, it's similar to a pencil but you never have to sharpen it. I only use it on my bottom lid as I have dark lashes, so the top already looks like I have some on, and if/when I apply it, it looks so out of place. I've only ever used pencils. I'm not a huge make up person... I don't even own foundation or blush (just eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss). I'd like a way to cover blemishes only though, I rather not do the entire face.

I use L'Oreal HIP gel eyeliner. I have oily skin so my eyeliner would always smear or fade. This is the only thing I have ever found that really stays on. The brush it comes with is too big to get a nice fine line so I bought another one. I want to try Jane gel eyeliner next. I've heard it's good too and it's cheaper than the L'Oreal one I'm using. I usually only use eyeliner on my top lid. I think it looks more natural that way.

I like Rimmel liquid liner right now, it's not waterproof, but does stay on well all day.  I also like  a pencil from Sephora - Bad Gal (bought it because I liked the name..lol) -it's fat and hard to sharpen, but I like the way it looks on and it smudges well.

Elf and Urban Decay.

Only elf is only 1$

PRESTIGE!!!!!

black liquid liner, never fails me, never smudges or creases and you don't have to reapply

I use the Smashbox cream eye liners. LOVE them! It takes a bit of practice at first, but if you're used to wearing liquid eyeliner it's easy peasy. I find it looks more natural and lasts all day :P

I think this is the right approach, only I use Cargo's smoky eye palette with a Stila angled brush.I like the Bobbi Brown Gel Ink stuff though. The aforementioned brush is a bit pricey but once you have it you can turn any eyeshadow into eyeliner.
