ezekial bread!!! pretty good

we just had a trader Joe's move to our area.  wow what a store!  found ezekial bread.  I tried the low sodium one this am. toasted with a smidge of low fat marg. verrry good.  it is amazing that there is no wheat in it.

I'll be going back to trader Joe's again! that is for sure.

Ezekiel bread does have wheat.  It is not flour but sprouted wheat berries.Questions & Answers About Our Products  If you can open this link and scroll down it will describe the difference for you.  It is a common misconception that Ezekiel bread is wheat free.  If the link doesn't work it's foodforlife.com.  I figured I should it mention if someone had a significant wheat allergy read this and then did not label read.  It is an excellent product, the cereal they make I use to boost the protein in my childrens breakfast whether mixing with another cereal or incorporating it with rolled oats and spelt flour to make a crunchy breakfast fruit "crisp".

I just picked up a loaf at my local grocery store and am just loving this bread!  4g protein per slice, very nice!

How long will this bread last on the counter?  It was frozen when I bought it so I'm assuming that it may spoil easily?  or was it just frozen since they probably don't move these all too fast?

Its funny to think that all the wheat bread I've been eating probably hasn't been all that healthy.  Looking at some of the labels, most "whole wheat" bread's main ingredient is enriched wheat flour.  I'm assuming the wheat bread at places like subway/others is the same deal?

Oh trader joes how I miss thee!  I like the alvadero (sp?) bakery sprouted bread too.  Its not fair.  You are all so lucky!!!

I keep all my bread in the freezer and take it out as I need it. That way it never spoils. :)

I love ezekiel bread! I keep it in the fridge and it lasts pretty long. I've never seen a moldy piece.

I, too, LOVE Ezekiel 4:9 bread. My favorite variety is the Cinnamon Raisin.

I also highly recommend Trader Joe's Moral Fiber Cranberry Orange Bran Muffins. TO DIE FOR YUMMY.

I've only tried the pita bread which is very good!
