weight watchers works well. i did it in 2004. but im not really counting points, been using this site and by the time i count calories & all that, i just cant be bothered. and im trying to watch my protein & other nutrients since im training for these fun runs and trying to gain (or ok at least maintain) muscles. i think in the next couple of weeks i might have to keep track of points but ill see how much longer i can keep up results with what i am doing now.
and welcome broad06, its never too late. well except if you are very late for work like i am right now. does anyone else spend too much time on this? hardly got any work done yesterday as well.

we dwindled down to nothing!!!! I wieghed in higher than ever today by the way!!! But I was 159 yesterday!!! HAHA Too much sodium last night!

ooops sorry, forgot yesterday. i was down 4lbs on my weigh in thurs. but i made sure to drink LOADS of water the day before & of, so I was peeing like a mad thing. this week my period is coming so who knows how that will affect things. was bad this weekend, eating out a lot (well a lot for me). i was sick of counting calories so i am taking a week off to see if i can judge properly. speaking of, i which skipped breakfast & now im starving. anyone else find it hard to eat in the mornings?
Sorry ladies, it's finals for me, so I forgot to weigh in yesterday!
I'm at 162.0 pounds, which is, I think 2.0 pounds down from last week. I didn't count calories on Saturday or Sunday, but I stayed within my 1500-1700 calorie limit without too much of a struggle.
rnjt I find mornings hard, too! Partly because it's the only time I get to myself these days. I'll be up and about and happy, getting things done, when suddenly it'll be 11am and I'll be famished!
hey ladies i just got back from the gym! they have this new cardio machine where your leg go side to side and its really good for ur butt and thighs i was on it for 45 min on the highest level (25) and burned 950 calories!. i got off it and my legs felt like jello!
hopefully i can stick to this gym thing and lose some pounds n inches!

gotta watch my typos & re-edits. that machine sounds wonderful. i don't think my gym will be rushing out for one of those of yet, dont think they have much room anyway.

didn't weigh in last week but I'm at 159.8 today. Down from last week, but still up form the other week! My clothes are fitting loose though and I bought a size 10 pant this weekend and it's a little big! YEAH!!!

thats a surprise since i ate reallyyyy really bad all week, but monday i got myself into the gym and after i drop off my cousin at school i get to go to the gym again and burn off some of the weekeknd goodness hahah

okay so my weight this morning was 159.6, but I was 158 the last 3 days and I ate ALOT of chocolate and icecream last night at mothers day dinner. So I figure my sodium level is pretty high. I feel dehydrated, wich usually means I'm severely dehydrated! So I'm sure it will be back down tomorrow moring! I had the best sunday, I got dressed for dinner adn my pants wouldn't even stay up!!! :) I had to go buy the same pants, two sizes smaller!! :) They aqre a little tight, but I give it a week or two before they fit comfortable! I'm sooooo excited!!!
I'll let you all know what my weight is tomorrow!!!

congrats on the pants. i went for a brief jog yesterday and my exercise pants kept riding down, had to keep pulling them up which im sure looked funny, but for me it was a good feeling. and i wouldn't worry about what you ate yesterday, sounds yummy! i was up 2lbs but since i lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks, i kind of felt relieved. i started to drink whey protein after workouts, ill see how it goes.
