Hello all!

I didn't get fat over night. Thus, while I wish there was some quick fix, it's going to take time to reach an acceptable BMI. Would anyone like to make the journey together?

I have a great deal of weight to take off ( 74 pounds) and the number seems unobtainable at first glance. Therefore, my first goal is to be able to look in the mirror and like a part of my body.... any part of my body! Today I like my hands. My fingers are long, almost elegant, and my manicure looks great. Now to like the rest of me! Giggles!

Happy New Year and wishes for your success!

OH Miss Glendale! I'm so sorry that today was so nasty. You did so well to stay away form temptation. You also were very wise to pamper yourself with a bubble bath and recharge your body and emotions.

I got a cute new hair cut after work today. My hair falls to my shoulders now and softly fames my face.  I really like it.

As to which body part I love today, I have a tie. The triceps sides of my upper arms are looking dang hot when I flex ,as are the muscles in my calves. If this is how I'm going to look 50 pounds from now, I WILL put on a tiny bathing suit!

Final note, the scale finally moved today. One more pound has melted away. I know I perspire, respire, and eliminate but WHERE IS ALL THAT FAT GOING?

It's another Monday!

Today marks three full weeks of "lifestlye changes." I've lost 18 pounds, 9 inches from my waist, and 2.9 of my BMI. That's pretty great! Yet it is the little things that I love the best. Not only is my designer jacket fitting at last ( yes I bought too small) but I can button all the buttons and they do not pull. All of my pants, even my " Oh God I can breathe!" Pants are so loose I have to wear belts or pull them up all the time. When I did the grocery shopping yesterday, a young man stopped and did a double take. Sort of a, " Do I know her? No, but I'd sure like to!"

Today I love my chin. Yes that's right chin, singular! Just one! The double chins are gone! I still have chipmunk cheeks but by some miracle all the blubber and sag under my chin has firmed. That's not supposed to happen without surgery! Do I really have a weight loss fairy sprinkling me with pixie dust as I slumber?
