I'm 21, and 5' tall. Getting down to 115 is my first goal!
I weigh in on Mondays, so I will post accordingly.
June 15th =195.4; so that is a loss of .6
June 22 = 196.2; so that is a .8 gain ![]()
June 29 = 195.2 ; loss of a pound from last week, and .2 from the week before. Better than nothing (-11.2)

July 6th=193.4; loss of 1.8 pounds. I was totally surprised because I did horrible this week with junk food and alcohol and soda! I expected a gain, or at least a maintain not a great loss!
July 13th = 192.6; -.8: nothing too great, but still something.
July 20th= 194; gain of 1.4, I knew it was coming because of how I ate and did not work out =(
July 27th = 198.4; Gain of 4.4 pounds :( I havent been focusing on my diet AT all for the last week, the next week is going to be hectic too. (+3.2)

August 14th = 193.6; loss of 1.8 pounds. (I know I weigh in on mondays but I wanted to see if cleaning the way I was burned lots of cals and it obviously did! hah (: Will weigh in Monday again on schedule!
August 24th = 196.4; so yet again, almost a three pound gain....I am restarting my "diet" aka lifestyle change and should be losing from now on.
August 31st= 200; I failed again, as usual. (+1.6)

I've been doing CC for about a 7 weeks, I'm 5ft tall, small frame and 50 years old. GW is 120. I've been doing well with losing weight but have to do a lot of exercise because I over indulge way to often. I think being accountable will be an incentive to control my eating. GW date is June 2010 so I can fit into my wedding dress for my 25th anniversary.

Ok, I have been doing CC since May 9,2009 and to date I have lost 19 Lbs. Prior to CC I lost 15 lbs so total I have lost 34 lbs. I am going to do the Friday challenge. I started here at CC at 233 lbs 5'9"

I guess it's time to get serious! I'm 6" tall and 238 lbs. My profile pic is a couple of summers ago at my largest, 261. I lost 40 pounds through WW, but have gained back 17 over the past 8 months. I'm shooting for high school weight of 190, to start.

i would like to join you focused people:).
short introduction - started at 121 kilos last january, got to 85.8. good. fell of the wagon and found myself weighing 110.8 kilos this may! no good.
since the end of may i am again focusing on losing the weight and make it a priority.
first few kilos went good, struggling this week even if i am doing everything right. maybe it is a revenge from my body:) also i expect this time my weight loss might go slower - my dos has put me off thyroid medocation in february as my levels were normal (i attribute it at least partly to having a healthier weight).

I got a new scale, and it puts me back about 5 pounds. But, I lost weight this week because my waist is down another 0.5 inch I'm switching my log to my old scale values b/c I've been able to verify that the old scale is more accurate than the new [edited on Jul 30].

. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I ate at the bottom of my points range, I exercised more than ever. Why didn't I lose any weight or inches?? (Well, I lost a tiny bit on my thighs). I'm sad.
30 Jul 2009: 193.5 lbs 200.0 lbs, waist 38". For the last week I have upped my points to eat at the top of my range and I have exercised at least 30 minutes each day. No inches lost on my waist, but I lost an inch on my tummy
I've also decided to throw out that new scale and buy something better. I'm visiting family right now, and they have this fancy scale that matches my old scale's numbers. I still need to replace the old scale b/c it really is dying.
6 Aug 2009: 191.5 lbs, waist 37.5". I was at my parents' place for most of this week, so my main form of exercise was using their treadmill. I jogged or ran on it for 30 minutes each day (except the driving days). Feels good to be so close to the 80s!!! I got a new scale, and I am really happy with it. It's TTOM for me this week, so I might not see much change next week, and if I that happens, I hope I can maintain perspective. I lost 2.75" this week, 0.5" on my waist, and 2 pounds down, so even if next week is less, this week should make up for it. I've joined a 3-day novel writing contest. It's nice to have my mind occupied by something other than food
The contest takes place Sept long weekend, so I have 4 weeks to prep. Maybe by then I'll be in the mid-80s!
13 Aug 2009: 188.9 lbs, waist 37.5". I'm in the 80s!!!! Woohooo. I am so surprised that I lost more than 2 pounds this week. Not much change in inches. I'm still happy though. I haven't exercised much because my husband has been swamped, so I have been parenting around the clock, and just don't enjoy exercising while I am parenting. I'll have to figure something out though, it doesn't look like his schedule is going to let up anytime soon.
20 Aug 2009: 185.8 lbs, waist 37". Mid 80s
I'm thrilled. I haven't been exercising much, and I have been a bit lax on the measuring of things (like rice, I'm eyeballing). I've been eating high in the points range averaging 28 points per day.
27 Aug 2009: 185.9 lbs, waist 37". So pretty much no change this week... which makes sense. I didn't track for 2 days this week, which is my first time not tracking in 10 weeks. I also ate a little bit more than I normally do (about 2 points more per day) all week long. I'll be better this week, and hopefully I'll start losing again.
03 Sep 2009: 184.3 lbs, waist 37". I've lost 19.7 pounds in total. In 0.3 pounds I will have lost 20! And in 0.7 Lbs I will have lost 20% of my start weight ![]()
10 Sep 2009: 181.4 lbs, waist 37". I've lost 22.6 pounds in total
I'm about 1/3 of the way there. I am very excited about it. Last weekend (Labour Day Weekend) I cloistered myself away with 5 other would-be novelists and wrote my first manuscript. It was a blast, and I hope to do it again sometime. Friends and family are saying it is a good story, worth publishing. So I think I will try to get it published. Hiding in a posh cabin writing a book has somehow changed the way I think about food. Suddenly food is a lot less important and the fictional world in my head is very important! It's a nice mental shift and I hope I can hold on to it.

I'm 0.3 pounds away from my first reward. I'll be picking up the Fenton Cranks when I'm down in the Cowichan Valley next week! Horray!

. I guess I have to start exercising again... It's my TOM, so that might be a part of the problem. I did lose 0.25" on my thighs and a bit on my arms, so I guess something is still coming off. Oh I am so grumpy this week.
1 Oct 2009: 178.5 lbs, waist 36.75". I dropped a little bit this week (0.8 lbs). I lost a decent amount in inches, I'm down 2.125" overall this week: I lost on my waist, thighs, hips, calves, and stomach (no loss on the arms). I am trying to value the inches more than the pounds.
8 Oct 2009: 177.1 lbs, waist 36.5". I'm down 1.4 Lbs this week. I exercised three times towards the end of the week and I drank coffee instead of tea. It seemed to work. There are still 7 weeks left for the Thanksgiving Challenge. If I lose 8 pounds I will just squeeze into my goal range for that challenge.
15 Oct 2009: 175.1 lbs, waist 36.5". I'm down 2 Lbs this week. I've stopped drinking tea and I'm drinking coffee in the morning and a chai at night. I wonder if the coffee is affecting my metabolism. For some reason this week people are noticing that I've lost weight. Three people have commented on it, my favourite comment so far is, "Are you getting taller?" Deb just flat out said I've lost a lot of weight. It's really nice that people are noticing :) I like the unsolicited comments. When I lose 1.1 pounds I will have lost exactly 30 pounds, and I'll at about the half-way point
I am very happy with my progress this week.
22 Oct 2009: 174.9 lbs, waist 36". I'm only down 0.2 pounds this week, but I lost quite a bit in inches (1.63" down this week, and 0.5" on my waist). I'm trying to value the inches loss more than the pounds. I'm just at the end of TTOM, so maybe the pounds will come off later this week?
29 Oct 2009: 175 lbs, waist 36". No loss in inches, no loss in pounds. Plateaued.
Ugh. Hate it.
5 Nov 2009: 175.2 lbs, waist 36". Questionable loss in inches, I'm up in pounds. @#&**%$! plateau ![]()
12 Nov 2009: 170.4 lbs, waist 36". I caught the H1N1 flu and its my TTOM. I lost 4.8 lbs this week and 1 3/8" (mostly on my thighs). So not all of it is water loss, I guess I will know next week how much of it was really fat loss. Regardless of the means, I am thrilled that I have pushed through that plateau ![]()
19 Nov 2009: 170.2 lbs, waist 35". My body did a bit of a bounce-back from losing all that weight from the flu. My lowest point was 168.1
I think the 2 pound bounce-back is actually healthy. Losing 7 pounds in a week definitely is not healthy. I am sooooo close to officially being in the 60s! I also lost an inch on my waist and a bit on my thighs. Not a bad week!
26 Nov 2009: 171.3 lbs, waist 35". Up up up! My body is still adjusting from that 7-pound loss two weeks back. The inches are staying off though, and I am happy about that. And the scale going the wrong way has motivated me to exercise more, which is good. Today's also American Thanksgiving and I had joined a group with the goal of getting into the 60s by Thanksgiving. I missed that goal by 1.4 pounds, but I feel like I still accomplished a lot and I am proud of that. Now I just have to get the scale moving in the right direction again ![]()
5 Dec 2009: 171.3 lbs, waist 35". Late weigh-in this week. I went to Vancouver for 3 days and ate pretty much whatever I wanted. It was a good trip. I gained a bit because I had dropped down to 169.8 before I left, but I don't mind the 1.5 pound bounce-back. It'll come off soon ![]()

I bought a scale at home and I couldnt believe i lost another 11lbs gonna double check at the gym today(UPDATE:At the gym it says 267 so ill stick to that one LOL).

My name is Rae! And oh man, focus is really what I need. I started on a Tuesday, so my first weigh-in won't be that great a change, but here we go.
Mini-Goal 0: 203 lbs. would bring me down to moderately overweight BMI! No date set. Just focusing on staying on the program until I reach it.

Total lost on trend: 6.55 lbs!
Mini-Goal 2: 174 lbs. would bring me down to mildly overweight BMI! It's also below my college graduation weight, and the weight I was when I first started dating my boyfriend. :)
Mini-Goal 3: 145 lbs. would bring me down to a healthy weight BMI, and back to my high school weight! I know I look good at this weight. :) May shift to maintanence phase at this point and try to adjust my bodyfat %.
Ultimate Goal: 120 lbs. would still be a healthy weight BMI! I do not want to fall below this, but wouldn't mind permanently plateauing a little above if it came to that. I would not be underweight unless I was 107 lbs. or below.
Hi, I'm Naj. I have a goal of 146 ibs. I started at 246 and I've lost 20 Ibs so far, since May 15 so I have 80 Ibs left, sheeshh. I'm starting to get unmotivated so I think the Friday check in will be helpful to me. I'm so inspired by everyone's weight loss!!!
I'm going on a trip, so I wont post friday, but Ill start today and then fridays from now on.

Hi, I'm Sue and new to this. Found calorie counter by accident. Have been reading my way around the site for the past few nights. So I'll start today.
The lowest I have been was around 168 lbs and I was very happy with my body.
So I am looking forward to getting to 168 and anything after that is a bonus!!
Reading the success stories has been very motivating and also reading the Friday weigh in's and the progress made has me hooked to looking forward to a new body shape!!! ![]()
Targets set on July 17th are as follows:
- Sep 4th - 200 lbs
missed this deadlline - Oct 30th - 184 lbs
unfortunately I won't make this either, but at least I AM BACK MAKING AN EFFORT
