Ok so I noticed last week while putting on make up my face isnt as smooth looking.  Ok Im turning 30 but not ready for wrinkles.  I Know I have lost alot of weight in my face, so I guess its where my skin was stretched?  so how do I firm this face back up?

Use a good moisturizer to keep your face nice and moist (moisture plumps skin)- especially at night.

Prevent any further wrinkling by wearing sunscreen every day!

The same thing happened to me the last time I lost weight. I guess a few crows feet are healthier for you than the old double chin.
I am a freak about moisturizer and I have been using a firming lotion on my body and its helped alot...going to see if I can find something for my face.  I didnt think It would make that much of a difference
good to know those firming lotions work. my legs have gotten really skinny, but the skin isn't as tight as I'd like it. guess I'm getting older :(
Check out the Mary Kay website, they have some great products!  I oughta know, I sell & use the stuff myself!
I'm a true bargain-shopper, so I don't buy into a lot of the "hooey" of the advertisements, etc.  However.....my sister sells Mary Kay, and because of the price I was reluctant to try it.  She gave me some samples, and I noticed SUCH a huge difference in the face moisturizers that I bit my lip and bought it.  This is one case where it did what it said it did, at least for me.  Also, they have a firming body lotion that when I used it for three days, it took all of those "little bumps" on the tops of my arms and legs away!  Almost every woman I know has them.  LOL!  I am SOLD.
I use clinique makeup and bought the body scrubber and it worked wonders on those little bumps.  I will check out the mary kay stuff for the face.
Well slappy, i been doing this to help with the under hang on my face. It is a small 2nd chin. What i do is lift me head up hold to the count of 6 and let it back down. That has helped me alot.
i wouldn't know.. i have naturally smooth skin and i never plan on getting wrinkles.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!   J/K!!

i have noticed that the first of my 3 chins (two made of flab and one my actual chin) is gone.. and it has left a wrinkly neck in it's place.. so i feel for you.. i am afeared when i get down further that i'll look 100 years old with all my wrinkles!  but skin snaps back and i'll get a good moisturizer to take care ofit.. :)
hi, you may want to look into the new line of Nivea, they come a long way now. I love it, especially the night cream.
for some wonderful reason weight loss has also given me acne. (I think it does have something to do with Splenda, but I digress). And so I now I look like a wrinkly 15 year old. It's awesome.
I will get rid of this.  will have to investigate.....
I have sensitive Skin and its very dry here where I live so a good moisturizer is important.   I use the Burt Bee's Products.  Not only are they resonably prices but they are excellent natural products for the face and body.
Hey MVD - re: weight loss and pimples - whether or not the Splenda is involved - this is totally normal!  As your body loses the fat, the toxins are absorbed into the skin and then turn into blemishes - the good news is - this will pass!  Lots of water helps, too.
Slappy... it's probably just the weight loss and your skin will tone right back into shape.

But your post reminds me of a couple of years ago. I kept looking in the mirror and wondering what had happened to my skin lately. Was I tired? Where was the usually firmness, the healthy glow...?

Then I realized I was just getting old! *bwaaaahhh* ::cried like a baby:: lol

I'm sure your still lovely. We're our own worst critics, ya know?

:-)
Slappy what brand of firming lotion are you using.  I bought some not for sure what brand and if anything else it did make my skin really smooth.  Avon has a firming face cream that I bought but don't use it that often.  I guess that is one thing I am lucky for I never gain weight in my face...

I've used the nivea a lot, (I lurrrrve the smells,) and lubriderm, which I like for my face, because it doens't leave any oily residue.  Also, have to chime in for the Mary Kay!  During HS I used nothing else, and had to keep getting /more/, because my OLDER BROTHER was stealing it!

mvdb: 'couple of suggestions from someone who's fought pimples for a long while now, (I have a hormone problem that /loves/ to give me pimples!)  Clean and Clear astringent, (like, 3.50 a bottle,) with the highest content of salicylic acid, and noxema...that's more expensive, about 7.50 a tube at Wally world, again with the salicylic acid...and, last but not least, oxy-clean creme, (and I can't remember how much this stuff is,) with benzoyle peroxide...
the best thing that I've found is this: I'll use the astringent, and then the noxema, if my skin's dry.  If it's oily that day, I'll use the oxy-clean....if I'm wearing /make up/, I'll layer all three, astringent-oxyclean-noxema, and then massage the foundation, (non-oil based,) into the skin when it's still slightly moist from the noxema cream.

The oxy-clean's the only stuff that's spot only, the other two you can use on your whole face.
ok, I think I complained too much to my hubby while in NC.  He comes home today and said he bought me something for getting under 140- I got so excited, he is great at picking out clothes.....it wasnt clothes!

he bought me Neutrogena Visibly Firm night cream!!!  I will let you know how it works! says you will see a difference in 2 weeks!  Guess he is a good listener!

Thought you guys would like that!
jam- I was using the nivea firming lotion and loved it but ran out and had some aveeno firming lotion and LOVE IT!!!  it has a sparkle to it so it makes your skin look so healthy and soft.
slappy- that made me laugh out loud!  he must know you really well! :)

great minds think alike!  he also walked in and said if you just paid the bills I asked you to then I wont be mad about you being on your website all day! THANK GOD I paid the bills!
