Am I the only one on the planet?

I just might be.

I do not have it and I have no interest in getting one.

I don't have it either.  But then, I am old....

Pssst. I also don't twitter.

i'll never twitter, but i do have facebook.  with it, i've reconnected with a bunch of friends i haven't seen in 20 years or more (most of whom i'd actually like to see again!).

i also love the "events" function for planning parties.

I had myspace, facebook and a twitter and let it all go, I love my CC though!!!! ;)

You're not missing much.  I got it to reconnect with an old friend (his family pics were on there).  It was neat to make contact with some people I hadn't seen since high school, but that's about it.

Ew to facebook! I don't have one either, nor do I desire one. I have no one I want to keep in touch with.  And I think it'd be a waste of time.  No need to jump on the bandwagon for me...

This site is the only form of social networking I do, and I didn't initially start out to talk to others on here - I did just to count calories.

But I like getting involved in the forums on here.

I like young people who don't have facebook/whatever. It makes me feel like I ain't the only person who has their head screwed on straight :)

I need more people on Facebook to join my mafia on Mafia Wars.

I'm seriously addicted to Mafia Wars.

yeah, I don't have it either.  Not even a myspace page.  It just seems like a waste of time & energy to me.

i do and haven't used it in months. I got bored with it.

Don't have it.  Never have.  I work on computers all day and still I'm somewhat of a luddite.

I didn't have a cell phone until my job made me get one.

I still pay my bills by putting in them those folded oragami type rectangles and put little squares of sticky paper on them so that the post office will deliver them.   But those sticky squares are getting expensive so I may have to switch to on-line bill pay.

nope. i get plenty of time on my computer at work and im not into marketing myself...

whew! glad im over 40 so i have no peer pressure to create a webpage all about me Cool

No more facebook for me once my in laws started spying on me!

I have myspace, but none of my in laws know how to use it and I do not have a single photo or even mention them on that page. So it wouldnt even matter.

My little sisters both asked me to make one of each. The one in highschool uses myspace while the other in college she uses facebook. I only have both because it was important to my little sisters. It was a great deal of help when I was living out of state. We used them to help stay in touch and share photos, etc. :)

We also made sure we all had the same cell phone carrier. That way we could all call each other without over doing our minute plans. One month I used 2,000 minute just taking to one of my little sisters. There was just so much going on and she needed me. So yeah. I think it's nice when people that are distant use Myspace/Facebook/  to keep in touch. It's also fantastic to have the same cell phone carriers so you talk to all your friends/family free!

I'm 30-something and heavily into computers.  I have a facebook page, but I only log in about once a month.  No myspace or twitter.

I used to have my own webpage, but let it expire 2 years ago after 2 years of no updates.

I briefly flirted with a blog, but it all came to nothing after a couple of months.

I also don't have a cellphone.  I had one once for about two and a half years, but ditched it due to lack of use and too many fee's.  I've got a phone at home, a phone at work, if you can't reach me then leave a message.

I also have a TV that I barely use.  I just keep it so the kids can watch Teletoon and YTV (Canadian kids programming).  Although I do watch a DVD a couple of times a week.

And I've got 3 computers, a Wii and a gameboy that see fairly heavy use (though the kids monopolize the Wii.  I only get to play Rockband).

I've had myspace forever.  I usually log on about once a week.  I swore I'd never go over to the darkside (facebook) but I finally broke down and got one.  I use it mostly to keep up with friends and family and to share photos.  All of the people on my friend's list are people I know in real life (with the exception of a couple of close CC friends).

But I swear I'm never going to do twitter.  I have to draw the line somewhere.

People who use Facebook don't have their heads screwed on straight?

I'm confused. I didn't realized staying in touch with friends/family who don't live near you and being able to see pictures of important things going on in their lives was crazy....

It's all good if you don't feel the need to join, but for people who live away from home it's awesome. Has absolutely nothing to do with the "bandwagon".

I agree. Speaking as someone that's lived thousands of miles away from my family/friends. ( On multiple occasions. ) It made/makes keeping in touch and updated on important things easier. Plus: After moving all of my new friends had a way to stay in touch too. It broadens your network of real life friends. Friends/Family: I may've otherwise grown distant from. Or: Completely lost contact.

I've been considering making a twitter account. My mother was asking me about twitter. I don't know anything about it so can't answer her questions. :) She may be interested in her own account there. I don't need /want a twitter myself. I think it's awesome my mother is interested in it. I'll hook her up with a twitter account though. Even make one myself to be her first friend! My mother says there is a lot of hype about it on Oprah/the radio/etc. She just isn't sure if it's something she'd use/enjoy.
