If it helps, Ive eaten 1200 cals of junk I didnt even enjoy today. 700 cals of M&Ms seems so much yummier than my foods from today

I did so good today until about 10 pm. I ate like an entire box of nilla wafers, 3 reeses cups the big ones, and some chewy candy. :(

But!!! I know its not gonna tip the scale so I'm just gonna try to do better tomorrow. Don't sweat it. M&M's are tasty though!

So you had 700 cal of m&ms, what's your total for the day?
dont feel so bad...i ate like a billion cals worth of chinese food last night
700 calories isn't bad at all. Just eat light for the rest of the day. Lost of veggies and fruit!

Try not to worry about it...just...CONTINUE ONWARD!!! WinkWink

I did 1665 out of 1750 of garbage food today. Cravings! But, even though it was not the healthiest eats in the world? I stayed within my limit. Heck, I enjoyed every single bite! Smile Now I will be able to do better and CONTINUE ONWARD tomorrow.

I ate over my cals today too.

I ate like 2000 calories today, but I guess I'm counting this as cheat day or something. I was just hungry today, and I think that it's because I didn't have a good breakfast or something. But, like janrose said I will be able to do better next week, and continue! :]

Think positive!!

i just ate like 7 white macadamia (sp?) nut cookies....i feel your pain   :(
You don't suck - you made ONE not-so-good choice on ONE day - you can always do better tomorrow... people who scream 'I'VE FAILED' when they make one bad food decision are just asking for a real dieting failure because nothing in life in black and white, including your diet. There has to be a little wiggleroom in there. 700 calories over your daily allowance is nothing to wail about - it's not even enough to add half a pound to the scale.
great perspective kajikit but there've been days I can relate to heartlynd's wailing.  :  )
I heard it takes 3500 calories to gain one pound.  So if you look at the big picture, you slipped, you fell, but you ain't out of the race!  Keep on working on it.  You are worth it!

I just need to say that even knowing that other people have slip-ups like this (sometimes 1000+ cals!) just makes me feel better...not that it's the greatest thing in the world, but that I'm not alone and nothing's "wrong" with me for slipping up.

I ate 2000 calories worth of peanut M&Ms this past weekend...but when I space out the cals for a week, I basically just had a maintenance week -- so no biggie!

Although this is really making me want some peanut M&Ms...crap!  How do you manage not to stop at the store on the way home from work when you're having a craving?!  But heartlynd, don't worry about it, you're still doiing a fantastic job!!!
It's ok to cheat once in awhile.  I recommend that when you get the sweet tooth...reach for the "Dannon" fit & lite yogurt.  40 cals and filling.  Take a banana or some other sweet fruit and dip it in the yogurt.  It satisfies the sweet cravings.

If it makes you feel better, I just splurged 500 calories on great grains cereal.

Weird, huh?
