your body is weak, well i guess so..

you need to eat well:D make sure of it but if it still happen, then maybe you should go to a doctor 'o'

i am in recovery so i basically have to eat well so i dont think thats it. thanks for your input tho :). yea the last time it happened in the summer i went to the doctor and they tested my heart and sent me to get x-rayed at the hospital and nothing was wrong. could it be blood sugar or electrolytes??

happens all the time to me - it's low blood sugar first thing in the morning, makes you dizzy as hell and being at a low weight exacerbates it sometimes.

whats eating "well"? how many calories/day+what is your bmi?  lots of things in your body are messed up and its probably something to do w the weight to be honest.

id go to the docotor though in case!

the same thing happened to me over the summer. I decided I wasn't going to eat for a day in a desperate attempt to lose weight by becomming anorexic. I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to eat anyway because I was having severe hunger pangs. As I walked into the kitchen, I remember feeling really dizzy and lightheaded, and then BAM, I was on the floor. My dad heard the bang, and came out and helped me up. I told him I was fine.

Since that night, I have felt the same feeling twice, but ate a candy bar and it went away. I concluded it was my low blood sugar level, since eating sugar got rid of it, and diabetes runs in my family, too. I would suggest going to the doctor and getting a blood test done.

That happened to me one night a couple weeks ago when I was visiting home. I'm not underweight at all. I'd eaten plenty that day. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and then I passed out.

The reason? I was so dehydrated. I realised that I'd had nothing to drink but diet soda all day. That and the fact that I'd eaten some Indian food and was having... *cough* digestion problems, really dehydrated me. I drank 2 glasses of water, sat down for a while, and I was fine.

Have you been drinking enough water?

It could be your blood sugar. I would go back to your doctor and tell him what happened.

I have a rare condition thats been making me faint for years. Its called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome. www.potsplace.com  wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Everyone is saying blood sugar, but I have gotten lightheaded and fainted from my blood pressure being out of wack.

Sometimes, if you stand up/get up really quick after being still for a long period of time, it causes all the blood to rush (somewhere?) and then you get lightheaded.

Happened to me just the same....except, slowly I couldn't hear and it got black. Every time it gets like this, I just sit down.

But, I agree....if this is the second time, mention it to your doctor and tell him what you were doing before it happened.

Given that you are, even if in recovery, still underweight and that your blood sugar and heart may still be low/having trouble, I'm a bit amazed you're posting here asking what to do. You fainted. Go to your doctor!
