Yep I have gained like 20 + pounds back and it is driving me nuts. I
bought a new elliptical (which rocks...but need to get it on a level
surface...darn carpet) but I can't seem to find foods to munch and
can't seem to stop wanting to graze. I think I have gotten tired of all
the foods I was eating before (which sucks) but when I try to think of
getting foods that will keep me full longer I can't seem to find
anything.
I am totally frustrated and can only equate it to holding on to a rope and losing ground while trying to avoid getting too many rope burns.
Ideas?

This is a good time of year for soup. I made a spicy sort of thai soup and its so good, low cal, and I like t think the the spice might burn a couple calories :)
As far as your elliptical, you could maybe get a nice big sheet of plywood to put under it, better than tearing up your carpet.

I get bored of food fast so I always tried to look up new ideas to change things up. Pasta is very versatile and if you just eat a cup and make it whole wheat pasta that helps and you could do so much to pasta! Also my favorite was homemade pizza. I used a whole wheat pita and added low fat shredded cheese. You could add mushrooms, grape tomatoes, anything. :) I do my groceries online which helps tons when looking at calories and nutrition. Not sure if it's available in your state but i order from peapod.com
One thing that helped me not "graze" because usually I grazed out of other reasons other then hunger was that i would buy pants one size smaller then I needed and oddly enough it reminded me that I needed to lose that weight and fit it. It's uncomfortable but I only did that while I was at home not outside.

i'm struggling with this, too; i hit a decade low in mid-september and have gained seven pounds back since then.
i blame it on evolution: we're programmed to pack in anticipation of winter shortages, to conserve energy, and to stay inside when it's dark to avoid predators. i'm just trying to keep it in check until december 22, when the days start getting longer again!

A good quick snack that can be filling is veggie burgers. Don't think of them as a humburger substitution just a quick healthy snack. The ones that have grains in them tend to be filling for longer. I also like to take a low carb tortilla and spread a Tbsp of "Better than PM" on it, drizzle a tsp of honey and roll it up and eat it.
