What Fashion Do You Hate?

Ok, at the mo there are tons of different fashions, a lot of stuff 're-hashed' from the past etc. 

What is the one (or more) thing that is in style at present that you think is just awful?

skinny jeans.

I don't care if you're fat or thin, skinny jeans are horrible. Especially if you have stumpy legs, Do people not look in the mirror? It looks terrible. Honestly. And even worse, skinny jeans that need washing so they've gone sorta baggy around the arse.

Why? there are mens jeans around, Don't advertise the fact you can fit your package into a pair of jeans aimed at fitting 14 year old girls. Its not attractive, its off putting and quite frankly you look stupid. Take the eyeliner off too while your at it.

tights (not leotard, actual think tight pants) under skirts! BLECCHH!!

oh yes I ahve to second the skinny jeans.  They make even the thinnest people look awful.  A  nice bootcut looks good on everybody!

Also tankgirl - you have a beautiful dog!  What breed is he/she?

I haven't seen this "Style" at all. Where is this popular?

Something of a sidebar, but shopping for my almost-8-year-old daughter is a nightmare, no matter what store I go to.  Seems to me we want to turn the next generation into a bunch of skanks.

When the younger boys are brushing their hair forward in their face and covering their eyes.  They have to reach ALL the way back to their neck and brush forward.....

Drives me nuts! and makes me think of a shaggy dog....I'm just waiting for the tongue to come out and drool to start falling from their mouths!

As some of you know, I have a 15 year old son. I have seen every abomination of fashion you can imagine: white belts, girl jeans on guys, big bug eye sunglasses. Everyday is a parade of fashion slaves through my house.

Shirts with tying bands or other seams right under the bust, flowing over the stomach area. Way to instantly add 10 pounds without a camera! I'll keep my tank tops and tees, thanks.

I hate Crocs.  Those awful molded holey shoes.   I'm sure they're comfy, but they hurt my eyes.

I don't know if its considered fashion, but this trend of all the girls being such a ridiculous dark orange colour - all times of the year. Then caking obscene amounts of make-up on top of their sun-baked skin. I'm sorry, but it does not look sexy, just sleazy IMO...

White stillettos with black tights. Tights with sandals.

stillettos only look good if you have really nice legs otherwise its a total trainwreck.

I totally hate army pants,shorts,dresses for women I think its some tacky thing that only teenagers should wear older women just look disastrous in them.

Super low-rise jeans that show off three inches of the crack of yer ass when you bend.

Super-tight clingy shirts.  This is "in" right now for girls/women, so when I go to buy my girls clothes, EVERYTHING they try on looks too tight.  *GROWL*

Skinny jeans on boys.  Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.  Ick.  Gag.

Tattoos on your face.  There's a customer of mine who comes in and has "bubbles" tattooed from her right cheekbone up the side of her face to her forehead.  *Shakes my head*

I'm gonna have to agree with the skinny jeans.  First of all, it just doesn't look right with the bottom of your jeans bunched up and tight around the ankles.  You can get tight, form fitting jeans with a nice boot cut (like lifeizsweet said up top).  It looks SO much better. 

I have seen boys in girls' jeans.  Not men.

But, yea ... skinny little 14, 15, 16-year-old boys walking around in tiny little girls' junior size jeans ... creepy.  I see it far too often.

OK ... seeing it once is seeing it too much.

can you imagine the houshold of a teenage girl and a teenage boy and the boy is fighting with his sister over what pants she has that he wants to wear. ummmmm can you say WEIRD.

I used to share pants with my little brother - we shared HIS. He luckily wouldn't be caught dead in girls' clothes.

Bubble tattoos on her face?  Is her name Frances? I know her.  She's an amazing person.  Not all that have facial tattoos are going to regret....

I dont like tats but especially on the face as you get older and your face tends to wrinkle those face tats sorta look hideous thats just my personal opinon I know a lot of ppl are diehard tat fans i just think it ages you even more.
