What Fashion Do You Hate?

Ok, at the mo there are tons of different fashions, a lot of stuff 're-hashed' from the past etc. 

What is the one (or more) thing that is in style at present that you think is just awful?

what about other countries besides the US?  can't their military wear camo?

both of my older brothers were in the military, and once I was big enough I wore their heavy jackets for a winter coat.  i don't see anything wrong with that.  it had my last name on it.

Another thing - those extended, loose culotte pants made from knit - wth? They are camel toes waiting to happen.

oh another thing i HATE- all those hollister/abercrombie&fitch t shirts. THEY LOOK THE SAME. and they cost a ridiculous amount of money.

everywhere i look i see 14-16 yr old girls wearing short shorts, flip flops, and a hollister/abercrombie&fitch t shirt or tank top.

they're like walking clones.

that reminds me : threadless t-shirts. interesting concept, and there are some cool ones, but it is as if the designers have a nauseating case of groupthink.

I second the animal print, yuck.

i hate ug (or is it ugg) boots. much worse than crocs in my opinion. 

capri pants!  Unless you're very slender they are NOT flattering! 

Mostly I dislike seeing people wearing clothes that are way too tight or way too big....the waist of your jeans belongs above your butt! lol  

 Also, I think it's ridiculous to see elderly women (not matter how nice their figure is) dressing in clothes that are not age appropriate...like leather mini skirts, animal prints, stilhettos, etc...it makes them look like hookers that can't afford to retire! lol

yeah, uggs.  especially in vancouver.  get some damn gum boots.

Plaid! Plaid is ok in moderation. But I go to the department store and it seems to be the only thing to choose from. To top it off the shorts cut just above the knee is back....mostly in PLAID. Don't get me wrong people look good in these shorts and in plaid. I don't!

The shoulder pads? I thought we were way beyond/over the shoulder pad thing. I recently went shopping for school clothes (teacher), and all of the skirt suits I bought had shoulder pads in them! Not to worry though. I cut them out as soon as I got home...and no I don't wear crocs with my skirt suits :) Funny I was just telling my sister in law how much I hate those rubber sandals. How can RUBBER on your feet be comfortable? I can't imagine how they smell at the end of a long day's walking!!!

Oh yeah! I am not a fan of the skinny jean either. It reminds me of when we used to "peg" our pants back in the early 90's. Not a proud moment.

Every year capris come back and every year I try them on.  Every year, I look like a hobbit.  Just gimme an evil ring and a volcano and I'd be all set- nothing makes me feel worse about myself than trying on capris.  They're just evil (esp cause they look so cute on other people).

I cant stand lace ahhh, so many people have those shirts with the 20 inchs of lace at the bottem. Save it for your table cloth or something please.

lululemon yoga wear.

so ridiculously overpriced and doesn't really look any different from other yoga wear. it's all about that silly little omega logo.

I call it "lululemming".

leg warmers....they were ugly the first time round I couldn't believe they were trying to bring them back!

Definitely off the shoulder, oversized logo t-shirts too

hot pants/short shorts with leggings/tights......I don't get it

haha I love skinny jeans. They are probably the most flattering jeans I have.

and animal print I think is okay and can look great in moderation.

 

 

 actually, i think skinny jeans look great on women.. women who have the legs at least. i love wearing my dark skinny jeans with stilletos. i think they're tres sexyy...

now as for men wearing skinnies.... BIG NO NO.

things i hate: those tops that all the girls are wearing these days that make you look pregnant (a bow or tight below the bust and loose around the stomach).

black tights under jean skirts (disgusting).. even more atrocious if they're worn with flip-flops.

oh definitely agree with Hummus.... one's arse should not be used as a billboard!

its not a style its just something i'm seeing alot lately: crocs...those big plastic shoes people actually wear...sorry to those reading this that wear them but ewww i hate crocs!!!!! and i know they hate me.
