I know this has been done but it's kind of a long time ago now and I'd like to re-open the topic as I've just started doing it...
Any suggestions for fast 5 gratefully accepted...
CC advocates weight-control through healthy eating, regular meals, calorie counting/portion-control and exercise. Fasting as a weight-loss method is expressly not recommended. Fast 5 advocates 19 hours of fasting per day and that users should eat only between 5pm and 10pm, if I understand that correctly. And that would put it firmly in the realm of a 'fad diet' because it's just shorthand for 'skipping meals'. Skipping meals usually presents more problems than it solves, leads to overeating, yo-yo dieting, low energy levels, fatigue and can be potentially dangerous if you suffer from any pre-diabetic conditions, for example. Low blood-sugars can make some people feel quite ill. To be undertaken at your own risk but not something that should be promoted or that the CC community could support
You don't have to starve to lose weight.
