So fat I Can't ride a Bike!!!

Quote  |  Reply
Yesterday my boyfriend was going to take me for a bike (motorcycle) ride.  I was concerned that I might bust his tire.  Go ahead and laugh now....lol.  I asked him to verify the weight capacity for the rear tire....it said 687 lbs (that is supposed to include the bike I think).  Well I got on anyway....sure enough the tire was almost touching the rim.  Every time he hit a bump it hurt my butt, but the tire didn't bust.

We actually rode by a shopping center to see how bad it looked and I could not believe how fat I have become.  So we didn't want to push it and just went back home.

Ironically, I've been on the bike several times last year.  His tire did bust on him one day and now we think we know why.....me!!!

Now...knowing all this.....we still went out to eat and I went over my calories for the day...alot!  hmmm....not smart on my part.

Has anyone else been in this situation where you are so overweight that you have to wonder if you should do something or ride something?????  Just curious.

Take heart.  I don't know how much you weigh but I can surely understand how you feel.  It breaks my heart when kids make fun of my son telling him that he has a fat mom.  I'm only 4'11" and weigh 170 lbs.  I look like I'm 8 months pregnant and I decided to take control of my life.  I decided to join the gym and watch what I eat.
okay, first of all......ewwwww shopping center windows!!  I think Nicole Ritchie would look "fluffy"

lol

yes, been in those situations.  I think it is sooooo wonderful you can be honest and open with your boyfriend.  Y'all are lucky!  I confide everything to my husband...but it took a long time.
Hey I'm sure you didn't mean that post to be funny. But I got to tell you, I about fell of my LARGE chair laughing. I guess maybe I can relate. My son got one of those mini motorcycles. He wanted me to ride it. Can you just get a visual of THAT. Poor damn thing hardly moved. What a load.!
Yep, the last time I went on a ferris wheel at an amusement park.  I was a lot thinner then than now and it scared hell out of me that we were going to take flight when the thing got stuck and we were at the top.  I always remember the guy who was running it and how wonderful he was.  He took everybody off the wheel as they came around and then when I got to the bottom with my husband he asked us to step off because there was a technical problem.  After I was out of the area the ride suddenly started working again.  But I was always so grateful that he found a nice and tactful way of solving the situation.  I never stepped foot on another ride after that.
