Are there any fat chicks out there who think they're Hot?
I know I do:) I hope no one takes offense to the term "fat chick", but anywho... I've been heavy my entire life, got teased as a kid, the whole 9. But somehow, I never let that effect the way I saw myself. Since i was a teenager, i always thought I looked pretty good, despite being bigger than the other girls. I Loved buying clothes, and wearing makeup, getting my hair done, etc. and you couldnt tell me I didnt look good! Now of course, I've always realized that there were many out there who would not appreciate my beauty, but oh well, i just tried to tune them out. I'm writing this because I am so sick of reading posts where people think they're hideous just because they're fat, or their life is miserable and they cant breath again (like that old Toni Braxton song) until they loose like 50lbs. It almost makes me feel like- if you're hideous at 160- I should kill myself! Now dont get me wrong, i realize that weight loss is important for health, and will make most people look better- its just that in the meantime, I think we should appreciate ourselves more. Know that you ARE FABULOUS NOW- and will be even more so when u trim down a bit. Vanity should not be for thin folks only. Oh well- this is just my rant for tonite. If you're big and sexy- Holler back!
I am a saucy wench, and delightfully proud of it.
While I'm shooting for an hour-glass figure, I'm not going to knock the hour-and-a-half I'm currently at. Years ago, when Playboy had their "100 most beautiful women" anniversary edition or whatever it was, three of the top five were classic pin up models--Betty Page (whom I adore!), Jane Mansfeild, and of course, Marilyn.
To hear guys prefer 'skinny chicks'? I call shenanigans!
Arrogant as it sounds, I know I have plenty more to offer, and that what makes me me isn't solely determined by the size of my rump (or "the space heater" as my ex likes to call it, lol ), the number on my clothing tags, or anything else.

I think hotness is a state of mind (though poor health is not sexy in anyone.)
Most times I feel like a hot chick, so I AM a hot fat chick.

Well I did reach my goal weight, but for my height my goal weight or 120 still left me a little curvy and I prefer it. I think the fact that I feel good and have worked out and gotten strong is what makes me sexy - not the number on the scale so much.
That being said when I was heavier I felt bad so I didn't have the beauty that comes from being healthy... I also had lower self-esteem then as well.
I think the confidence I gained as I dropped the pounds is what made me more attractive. Before I didn't really walk with my head held high or have that energy I have now. Healthy men and/or women have a certain "energy" about them a glow to the skin clear skin/eyes shiny hair all of those things that say "healthy" I think there are women who are bigger who look much healthier and sexier than their skinny counterparts... and there are women who are very muscular and trim and you can tell they work hard for their health and they are also very attractive... I think its all in the health and the confidence.
If I got rail thin and down to 105 I don't personally think I'd feel as sexy because to me it's the curve of the hips and the womanly shape that feels sexy. I also think my new muscles make me kinda hot :D My boyfriend agrees with me he teases me about getting stronger than him lol.
I like having some curves, now my main goal is to keep getting stronger and healthier :) and with that hopefully even hotter ;) .

i'm big and curvy and beautiful!
oooh i'm plagued by self-doubt fuelled from the age of 5 by my father and mentally-ill sister but.....i'm a hottie. i've always been confident in myself, if only because i figured my intelligence and friendliness could compensate for my physical flaws. and because i gave up on physical beauty at a young age, i started measuring my hotness by other standards (i don't think that's what my sis and dad were aiming for with their criticisms, but whatever).
so...i'm a hottie, just like the rest of you ;)

I want that confidence! How the heck do you guys do it in such a skinny-minded world? Tell us your secret ;)
*Raises hand*
I've lost about forty pounds but when I was 200 lbs I felt just as sexy as I do now, and I am still overweight. I've also never had a hard time with guys and I seriously think it's because I feel beautiful and therefore emanate beauty.
Yay high self-esteem!

160ish can be a very attractive thing :-) I'm 162 and i've always been proportionate and had a pretty face, but I'm spillin out of all my clothes lately and I still wanna lose 20 lbs....See the tale of the amazing human yo-yo in the 160's club!!!!
Some days I feel hot and some days I wish I could just lose my belly and thick waist. But today I feel great! My fiance has been gone for a year at school and I have lost 40 pounds, I am going to make the long drive to help him pack up and move home cause he graduates in a week! He's coming home in a week! But today he wanted me to send him a picture message of me on the phone so I did. He got really excited. The pictures were really sexy but I think they made me look better than I really look. I hope he isn't disapointed when he sees me.
But for real my A$$ looked really good in the pictures! I love my A$$! It's hot! I hope I don't lose any more of it trying to lose the last 20 pounds.

AHA! that's why i'm only shooting for the high end of healthy (which for my height is 150) because both the times I've dropped down to 130, well, bye bye T&A. Flatsville. Yes, honey, to quote a great man:
You can do side bends and sit-ups. But PLEASE don't lose that butt.

I don't think I'm hot - I KNOW I'm hot. Always have been always will be. At any weight At any age. Hot is in the eye of the beholder and I definately "behold" myself.
I've always been heavy, and as a result I've always had poor self-esteem. I always liked myself as a person and made friends easily but I've never been attractive to the opposite sex. For ages I really believed it was my weight. But just in the last few months I've been taking notice to couples around me...and alot of them are heavy! Heavy gals with thinner men, heavy men with thin gals. Some gals bigger than me, some much thinner, some about the same. All at once it finally dawned on me. Although my weight might be a turn-off for some I've probably missed out on a few otherwise good oppurtunities because *I* had such a problem with my weight. I've lost a bit and although there's plenty more to lose I feel better about myself than I have in years, even when I weighed much less than now. I will likely always battle with negative thoughts but it's improving so maybe there is hope for me yet. For the first time in my life I don't feel like I am destined to be alone just because I'm not thin. =)
No.
I have terrible self esteem. I won't be happy with how I look until I'm skinny. =/

I think I am close to pretty hot. But I just have self-esteem issues that haunt me. I am definately motivate for the summer. Especially b/c I am going on a trip to new york in July and I hear that is one of the hottest times. But I know I will definately be Hot when I reach my goal, I can hardly wait
I think I am pretty. I also have come to the conclusion that it is just weight and I totally agree with you Ronnie. Why on earth should I feel bad about myself because I have a little extra fat? This is because society has told me I should since I was a child! I have been brain washed like the rest of you but have awoken from my haze! I am a rebel and my new cause is the diet industry and their main target women. Hollywood as well! I have HAD ENOUGH! I refuse to give money or my energy to one more diet! I also resent the images coming out of Hollywood and the actresses who say "oh this is what the public wants!: NO IT ISN'T! The public wants to see normal people on screen not stick poles. Hollywood is competing with itself and has nothing to do with America! We really need to say NO!
I am no longer doing diets! I like this site because it is helping me to re-learn how to eat like a normal person! Those of us on diets are whole life have lost the ability to hear our bodies and what they need for fuel. Sometimes it is cake, sometimes it is fat, sometimes it is a salad etc. Normal people know this because they did not get into this sick thought system in the first place. When I went on my first diet, I was thin. After that first diet, is when I started having a weight problem. Diets create weight! If we could get everyone to stop buying books, programs etc. on diets, the industry would end! Now that would be a great day on earth! I also say if that happend our obesity problem would die with it!
We are the people and we have the power. We need to start using that power by just saying NO! Women are especially targeted and frankly we should be angry at this. That should give us even more ammunition to just say no! Just say no to drugs well just say no to diets!

From the male point of view, "hot" or "sexy" in women is not a body type, it's an attitude and it most definately comes in all shapes and sizes!

I'm the one who thinks I'm waaaaaaaaaay to heavey. My husband thinks I should just loose a couple of kgs, but not more than 5. I want to loose around 12 for my first part goal, and then I want to see what I feel like.
In my experience, most men like well rounded women. It gets problematic when men and women are really obese, even though I have to say I don't always agree with the definition, since health is so much more than just a number on a scale.
Personally I've always see me being hairy as a much bigger problem. My sister is currently going through an expensive laser hair removing treatment on her legs, she just couln't take it anymore.
