Has anyone out there tried the Fat Flush diet?
I have been working out hard 5-6 days a week and not consuming that many calories but have a hard time loosing weight. I bought the Fat Flush Plan and it seems like it has worked for many. Anyone tried it?
obvouusly never tried it.
and personally ive heard that its rather hard to stick to.
it is hard to stick to but if you can do it it really really works.
I've done it and raynsong is right, you have to be motivated and very disciplined. But... It does work very well. I lost about 3 lbs a week for a couple of months. The problem starts when you get off the diet, because I am not sure it is possible to keep it going forever.
I gained all the weight back within about six months. :-(
I think a balanced calorie deficit diet is better long term for keeping weight off, but if you want to give yourself a jump start then try fat flush. Just expect to gain some weight back after you stop doing it.
What's the point of a jump start if once you stop, you slide back even further than you jumped forward?

don't know your stats, but have you considered the problem might be too few calories? Not to mention that 5-6 days is not enough time to really see where your "diet" is going.
it's been pretty well noted here several times that if the "diet" you want to try is not somthing you can do for life then odds are it won't help you keep weight off long term.
healthy lifestyle is the way to go!
the fat flush is great! but it is a lot like a fast in that it's very strict and has a tendency to isolate you in social eating situations. i did it about a year ago with pretty good results, but i did a "vegan version" i made up myself, so i'm not sure how accurate my impressions were. the thing i didn't care too much for was that you're not really allowed any fruit. but it was interesting to eliminate starches and most fats for a while. i also liked the flaxseed oil as dressing for salad, and the cranberry drink is tasty.
i have also done the sacred heart diet, the south beach diet, the master cleanse, and water-fasting, in the end i've had the best results with the "diet plan" i invented myself, based on a vegan diet, including the foods i like to eat in moderation, with lots of veggies. deprivation will really get to you in the end and you'll just overindulge when the "fast" or restrictive period is over. if you're going to do the fat flush i recommend getting the book and following it pretty exactly in terms of how to ease back into normal eating, that way hopefully you can avoid the bouce-back.
good luck!
.....ummmm kinda in the dark....what's the fat flush diet?
