ive noticed that increasing the fat % in my daily food intake makes me lose more weight faster.. why is this? and is it dangerous that im eating 40 grams of fat/day?

not too sure i stopped counting calories and was jsut counting the fat grams and i just input the foods to get my fat percentage
Well, 40 grams of fat isn't too high, I often get more than that, but if it's 54% of your daily calories it is... for the average American it's 40%, but it's reccomended to be below 30%... However, if you're only eating 700 cals, then there's your problem... Maybe you lose weight faster because you are eating more calories overall.

I don't think the percentages really matter as long as it's good fat, not saturated fat then if it works for you, good!

Judging from your pictures, you definitely shouldn't be losing weight. And you should be eating at least 1800 calories to maintain (NOT 700)

The Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes Diet suggests that no more than 30% of your calories come from fat.  Do the math with the number of calories you allot yourself for a day.  A diet low in fat and cholesterol will help prevent heart disease.  Going over your fat calories isn't going to have an immediate negative effect, but if you're aiming to stay around 40 grams, just try better the next day.  Kind of like calories, try your best, if you slip one day, move on and take one day at a time.

I just looked at your pictures...I think your body probably wants a little more fat.  Everyone needs some to be healthy.  You don't probably need to follow the diet I just listed above.  Maybe you should go to a dietician or nutritionist and talk to a professional about what you are eating/doing to yourself.  How many calories are you eating a day?

40 grams of fat (360 calories) is 54.4 percent of your daily calories? Which means your daily caloric intake is 661 calories.

If your thigh is the same size as your calf, you DO NOT need to lose weight.

Yeah, not to fan any flames that may be burning but what the hell is going on lately? I'm glad this site is here for support if that's the case.

You're fine. Up your caloric intake slowly. Counting Fats isn't the way to go because 'Fat' doesn't mean what you think it means. It's a bad word to you, it isn't.
