i aim for at least 50grams, being a smaller female, but up to 70grams can be normal on some days

Aim to get 25-30% of your daily calories from fats.  If you're on an average 2000 cal diet, for example, that would be around 60-70g a day.

i dont think i am getting that much fat...what are some way I can get more healthy fats besides nuts?:?

olive oil! :-D seriously, that stuff is the best if you need to up your healthy fats. Cook with it. Put a tablespoon on your veggies or your salads. Just be careful because it's also very high in calories (120 cals for a tablespoon).

As well as olive and other oils and nuts/nut butters you can get it from oily fish, avocados, seeds.   And don't eliminate saturated fats.  The fat in good quality meat and dairy products is also much healthier than it's had credit for in the past.  You only need an extra teaspoon of olive oil here or a knob of butter there to redress the balance.

Sources of healthy fats include avocados, cooking oils like olive oil and sesame oil, seeds, nuts, nut and seed butters (particularly flaxseed), soy and soy products, and then as Jane wisely said - do not count out saturates. Just be sensible.

yaa I eat saturated fats its weird I never cared about eating low fat things I just did eat low cal things which were low fat. I blame all of this on a friend of mine who put all this bad food things into my mind. She needs help I think its best I stay away from her. She told me not to eat sat fats ever thank god I didnt listen to her.
