The Fat Jacket
So I've lost over 70 lbs, I'm running 5K a day, my eating is routine under 3000 calories and I'm gettingto the gym a few days a week to do strength training and long cardio machine runs. All this has me with two bodies now on the same frame. On the inside is a very fit and toned 6'-3" man but he's wearing a fat suit. Thats just what it feels like, it's like the fat isn't part of my body anymore, it's just attached to it but I can't just take it off like a coat. I have to slowly remove it bit by very small bit. What a lesson in patience!!

I'm sure the two bodies will catch up at some point so love both of them equally until that happens. Takes a long time to knit a fat suit... takes even longer to unpick it. ![]()
I understand exactly what you mean! The only thing Id suggest is to not give much mind to that "fatsuit" you feel like you are wearing, for it may hinder your progress. But speaking from personal experience.. one day you'll wake up and notice that the suit has merely diminished. Like Gi-jane said, you're body will catch up with itself. keep up the good work hun!!!!
dude, i was just thinking something like this at the gym last night! i was doing my leg strength training routine, noticing how i can use nearly the heaviest weights on the machines, and how strong my abs are (i did ab work, too). then while i was doing cardio i looked down and saw all this blubber. and i'm thinking, this fat is not me. i am a crazy fit, strong amazon goddess. but nobody can see it b/c of all the lumps and bumps i still have to burn off.
patience is a mother.
