"These fat kids don't need cake" challenge - Updates!
Edited to Update for our Second week. Not many people are sending in their weights. I can only run this until the 14th! I go back to work on the 7th so it will be hard for me to spend as much time on here as it was now (since I'm on Winter break!)
Sign ups for this challenge are on the "Weight loss" forums as "Weight loss challenge anyone?" However, if you're reading this feel free to join. We have 17 people right now. Our weigh ins are on Mondays! First one is December 24. I'll post everyone's results as one post on Tuesdays. Good luck everyone. Keep up the good work and keep up the encouragement for each other!

Those are the only people who "weighed" in. I lost 5 pounds which was the highest this week! Highest percentage goes to: jgasperetti! Great loss this week! We still have almost two more weeks to push toward our goals! Let's do it! Everyone can bounce back from their mis-steps! Let's do this together!

Oops. A few hours ago, I posted that my weight didn't change. The truth is, I assumed since I ate so many cookies this weekend. But I was wrong!
Old weight: 285
New weight: 282.5
gained 3 :(
Shame on me, it's my own fault. I wasn't drinking alot a water like i usually do-i need to start drinking the 10 glasses a day again-not 2. Hopefully next week will be better. Merry Christmas everyone.
226. I've been under my deficit every day, so I think it's just because I've had so much sodium for the last few days. Hopefully it's better next week.

Sorry I didn't post my weigh in yesterday....really busy!! Anyway I gained two pounds so I'm at 236 :(
Now that the holidays are over I should be better on track!

Hi Dani, I'd like to join your challenge too, please! I could use some encouragement after the holiday to get back on track. My highest ever recorded weight was 286, like you (although fully clothed in the doc's office) and I'm also 22. Current weight: 233 lbs, and my goal is 170.

Edit to avoid double posting: I got to the gym last night and this morning, so I'm officially back on the wagon after my week of Christmas laziness! I'm trying to get into a routine where I can get there in the mornings and still get to work on time. Today I didn't get here until 10:30, so I can't say it worked so far. But I'm trying.

I have been having a horrible time trying to stick to my diet..........I can't wait for the new year to start so I can get back to normality. I unfortunaltey think I have gained another pound or two but I am waiting for weigh in to know for sure.....how is everyone else doing? Any interesting events planned for new years eve?
It has been a lot harder this week. Had to visit my parents for the weekend and that was a killer. My mom makes the most awesome gingerbread cookies! I scarfed 3 of them on Saturday!
I was doing so good at keeping sweets and holiday treats out of the house until people started giving them as gifts.
Oh well end of a year and the beginning of a new one and we are going to beat the fat!

Hey guys! I'm down to 232 and my SW was 233, so that's -1 for me. I haven't been eating very well this week (Too many dinners with friends and family) but I did go to the gym for the last 4 days in a row, so that counts for something! In fact, I'd be there right now if it wasn't snowing. Looks pretty awful out. I'm so glad I have the day off.
Tonight we're going to a friend's wedding, actually. I'm going to wear a cute dress and boots that I'm looking forward to showing off. :-) It will be a fun wedding, I'm sure, and I hope my husband manages to stay awake.
