If I may I am just returning to exercise and fitness but I know a trick my aunt used to use and it helps with posture as well. Work on keeping your ab muscles flexed , tightened, whatever you want to call it while walking sitting whatever you are doing eventualy you will be constantly be holding and working those muscles. It does work its like situps all day long If you find a trick for thighs let me know hope this is at least a little helpful
Actually, someone else in another thread suggested looking on Prevention.com for some great thigh exercises, and I came across this one here.

The 3 moves are based off of tai-chi moves. Just looking at it, it doesn't look like the moves would be effective in anyway, but HOY MYGAWD, after doing all 3 moves for the said amount of reps, my thighs BURN. I've only been doing them now for about a week on and off, but they seem to be the most effective, AND I can do them while at work as well on register without looking too silly.

what you want to do is reduce your body fat percentage. It is good to have it checked, any gym or personal trainer can offer this kind of service. The thing is not to go too low, women need some base amount of fat for proper hormonal production. Too lean may mean disruption of cycle. Some extra fat here and there is very feminine. If it is not the case, fat loss can be achieved by keeping negative energy balance. Mostly by controlling your food intake and keeping active both in life and by doing exercises - those that you like but preferably weights and cardio. There are no shortcuts or some magic exercises (spot burning myth). It takes time and discipline but is worth it.
Cardio
You can't "spot reduce" or tell your body where to lose the weight. Its gonna lose from the spots it wants to first. YOu can tone the muscle under the fat with the crunches/ lunges/ squats and everything else but the only way to lose the fat is to eat right and do as alayney says "cardio"...
Also, while there's nothing wrong with staying fit, please be careful. You're only 13, hon. Your body still has loads of changes to go through!
