Fat Smash Diet???

Quote  |  Reply
Has anyone on here tried that Fat Smash Diet???  I just saw my sister on Christmas and she lost 55 lbs on the diet.  She looks amazing.  It looks like Phase 1 might be a little hard to follow.

I was just wondering what anyone on here thought.  I was thinking of trying.  Any comments???

Isn't that the diet from Dr. Ian that they follow on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club?  I?m not sure of the details but it seems like most other diets ? the bottom line is eating small meals throughout the day with plenty of fruits and veggies and lots of exercise.
True....i was just so shocked to see my sister that it sounded good.  The thing is you have to go through "detox" for 9 days....basically it looks like you go vegetarian then you can start adding in some meat.

Most of the time the celebrities lose alot of weight during that detox phase.  It might be tough for someone who's used to eating meat daily, but the quick weigh loss results (probably from water weight anyway) gives folks the motivation needed to continue on with the diet.
Yea, I was watching the biggest loser, and theyre first weigh in, Im thinking, how did they lose like 15-20 pounds in a week? Then I realized, they are pretty much on a detox and stripped of their water weight on top of that. Made more sense.

I just read a little bit about it (I was curious) and it doesn't sound that bad to me! If you're thinking about trying it, I'd say "go for it!"
i figure..it wouldn't hurt.  It looks like its just making you eat healthier and i need it.  It worked for my sister and she said it was pretty easy to follow.  She did say the first phase was the most difficult....but it's worth a shot.
I did the Fat Smash Diet last year and it was effective. I lost 7 lbs during the detox phase and 20 lbs overall. Phase 1 is extremely difficult but a great kick start if you can stick to it. The unfortunate part of Fat Smash is that there is a lot of gray area of what you can and cannot eat. It's principles are effective for losing weight but it eliminates a lot of foods that you can eat. As I got to the end of the phases I found it difficult to keep the weight off and ended up giving up and gaining all the weight back and that's why I'm here now.
I haven't tried it, but it sounds good.  If you decide to try it, let me know how it works.  I am just trying to start an exercise regimen and watch what I eat.  But I am always willing to try something that works.
i tried it, couldnt finish phase one it was too hard to give up the meat. that and i dint have the support. But if ur strong u could do it. u pretty much go vegan for the 9 days. i recommend taking vitamins if u do the diet and dont already.
You can do it !

o_O

I have done it for 10 days now.  First few days you feel like crap and then you start to feel really good.  It is detoxifying your body and helps get all of the complex carbs that are so bad for you out of your diet that first week.  Its not completely vegan the first 9 days.  You can have skim milk, yogurt, egg whites, etc...to keep up your protein levels and give you energy.  I wouldn't have survied without those things - they help keep me feeling full!  All in all I feel great and I haven't looked or felt this great since last January.  I'm going to continue - and today I can start meat again!Laughing
