I was a fatty last night...

Say I went out last night and got drunk... and then ate a whole lot of food. Im sure it was a good 1000+ calories over my limit.

My question is, if I want to burn off those calories, should i decrease my calorie intake for a few days? Will I go into starvation mode if its below what I need? Or do I continue the same, but it will just take me longer to achieve my weight-loss goal?

I don't really know how to right my wrong?! Any suggestions?

Just eat how you normally would and work out harder that week. Also drink lots of water and don't weigh yourself for a few days. It takes 3,500 over your limit to gain a pound, so your fine. :)

really the best thing to do is forget about it, today is a new day.   eat healthy and stay within your healthy intake,  laying off the alcohol for a few days might be a good idea too, and just try to minimize making that mistake.  but don't beat yourself up over it.

Yes, this is completely true. The odds that you gained a whole pound from your binge are very slim. BUT, you probably did gain a pound (or two, or three) in water retention. Usually, when I go on a drunk food binge, I wake up the next day and find I have gained 2 or 3 pounds. But, like I said, this is mainly water retention from all the sodium in the beer (I'm a beer drinker) and the junk food I binged on. And I think alcohol naturally dries you out. So, like krisie said, make sure you drink a ton of water, and it really would be wise not to weigh yourself for at least day. You should be back to normal after day 2, assuming you haven't been neglecting your water, or going over your calories. Hope this helps!

P.S. Drunk eating sucks. Gets me everytime!

How'bout going to an AA meeting?  Taking alcohol out of the equation is the way to right your wrong
