band: brand new (with beastie boys/le tigre tied for second)

currently
band: interpol (although they're actually my #4 fave of all time, but i've been totally obsessed lately) and lily allen. i know she's been out for a while, but i just got into her big time like two months ago. i love her.
song: ....i don't really have a current favorite. nothing that i'm dying to listen to. i'll put lily allen's "ldn".

at first i thought you were talking about me, ahaha. but then i realized we posted at the exact same time, and you were most likely talking about the poster right before me...

i beg to differ on the artic monkeys being unique, i'm not saying they're crap or anything, but they aren't unique

YES!! someone else who likes the music I like!  (ha only one person...) I've grown up listening to the dead, phish, moe., more recently the band! errr theres way too many to list.  I'll spare everyone a long list. 

Mmmm. I'm really into Linkin Park and Cobra Starship. I also love random techno music and remixes, but there's really not many good, solid techno bands with more than one good song.

If I could choose my favorite songs, I would say...
- "Bleed it Out", "Runaway", and "From the Inside" by Linkin Park
- "It's Warmer in the Basement", "Keep it Simple", and "Guilty Pleasure" by Cobra Starship.
- "Dreams of an Absolution" by Lee Brotherton (it's Silver's theme from Sonic the Hedgehog)
- "You're Not Alone" by Saosin.

Where is my Mind is incredible. Its played the end of Fight Club–definately the best movie ending in the history of flim, in my opinion.

I have about 60 favourite bands. My all-time favourite band would be the Smiths, and my current favourites would probably be Band of Horses. Other ones of the top of my head are Spoon, Interpol, the White Stripes, the Mountain Goats, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolf Parade, the Arcade Fire, Camera Obscura, Belle and Sebastian, Cat Power, and Iron & Wine.
