protein bars, power bars, granola bars, breakfast bars. so many to choose from!
personally, i just tried a chai tea Luna bar for a mid-morning snack today and it's my favorite so far. (: How about you?
Reason: Released as Food Forum Sticky
oooh...this is a toughy...i like a couple different ones...
fiber one oats and caramel as a great snack
luna if i'm actually hungry
kudos bars--snickers---as a candy bar replacement
south beach protein bars--for energy
I don't really like any of them.

i don't eat them that often, but i love protein bars. interACTIVE nutrition has a series of low-carb protein bars that i just love! my favorite flavour is definitely the "iced dream" flavour.
kashi trail mix bars are my favorite snacks. delicious and wholesome! haha.
I prefer to eat "real food" when it's available, but sometimes when you're out, the best option is a bar of some kind. it definitely beats potato chips, in my opinion. :)
I like the pure protein bars, preferable the chocolate peanut butter flavor. For a chocolatey fix I like the ClifZbar for kids in the chocolate brownie flavor. Its only 120 cals and its all organic and all chocolate! Whats not to love. And I also like the lara bar in appie pie flavor...its got like 5 all natural ingredients.
I like Larabars because they are very minimally processed. They are made with just fruit and nuts and only contain natural sugars. The base for them is dates and then they add other fruit and nuts to make the different flavors. My favorite is the Apple Pie flavor. They also have Cherry Pie, Pecan Pie, and several others.
Laras Laras Laras!
Larabars are amazing, and unarguably good for you, unless you have a problem with fruit or nuts... because that's all that's in them!
I work at a health food store now, and we carry all the flavors, so I'm determined to try them all. They taste so incredible. Personal favorites:
Ginger Snap
Apple Pie
and PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE! Ingredients: Dates, peanuts, salt. Stick it in the micro for 20 secs, and you've got yourself some warm toasty cookie dough... but healthy! Mmm, best bars ever.
The only bars I would consider are Lara bars because they are only fruit and nuts. The cinnamon roll flavor is my favorite so far! We do not have the peanut flavor or apple pie flavor one where I live in Australia!
Only peanuts and dates and salt? So easy and so much cheaper to just make it yourself lol! Ah well, part of the enjoyment with bars is the CONVENIENCE lol!
I thought I would love the key lime pie flavor but I liked the cinnamon roll one better!
Most bars are so BAD…. SO MANY ingredients, I hate the notion that foods need like, a MILLION different things added to them!
I used to hate bars...but that's before I discovered protein bars. :P
SlimDown Bars (Honey Yogurt, Triple Layer Almond Coconut...Yum)
ProtiLife (Caramel PB Crunch, Chocolate Cereal Crunch, PB bar, Pomegranate Cranberry Explosion are my faves)
Kashi TLC (Almond Honey, Peanut Butter are great)
Looking forward to try Larabars and Clif Bars (when they'll be on sale). I found a store that sells them :P
I loove bars! They are my savior in getting the calories and healthy fats in. My faves:
Larabars (Cashew Cookie, PB, Apple Pie and Banana Bread)
Jocolat (Chocolate Coffee, Chocolate Orange)
Clif Nectar (dark chocolate walnut, lemon vanilla cashew)
Warmed in the microwave, or crumbled on top of yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal - always great.
Kashi TLC bars
Clif bars (carrot cake and peanut toffee buzz especially)
I've heard so much about Lara bars, but i can't seem to find them anywhere. where do you guys get yours?

Not sure where you're writing from, but I get mine at Whole Foods. If there is a Whole Foods near you they are sure to have some, and if they don't, they will order some for you. If you buy a whole box, you get 10% off! (I love my company :) )
And though I greatly dislike the place, Wal-Mart sells them too, which is sort of strange in itself. But there's another option for you!
I think it depends on where you live. My Wal-Mart does not sell larabars, but I can get them 4/$5 at Stop & Shop or Shaw's. The local health food store sells them as well.
If you to the website, you can find a store near you that sells them. Though, its not 100% accurate as according to the site, the Target up the street from me sells them. I checked. They don't.
i eat these "soy rocks" bars which i order online, they are a little pricey but they have good protein and fiber content, and 80 cals 2g fat... they are my 11am mid morning snack!

my favorite bar is Luna's Caramel Nut Brownie.
It doesn't feel "healthy" but it is!
I really like Nature Valley Peanut Butter and one of the Fiber One bars. I'm trying to cut back on processed food, so I will look into these Larabars everyone is raving about. Are they chewy or crunchy?
I really like Trek bars and Nakd bars to although I prefer the Trek ones as they have a bit more protein.
I love Luna's Cookies and Creme and Luna's Peppermint Stick. Their new recipe makes a huge difference!
