What is your favorite exercise dvd to work out with? I like denise austin, I want to try Tae Bo. I am getting Turbojam in a week!!
I have a "Crunch yoga / pilates" mix that was under $10 at walmart and find it a good muscle strenthing workout for beginners. I suggest going to your library or video store and checking out some of their selections until you find the instructor and type of workout for you. I know some people can't stand Denise Austin and some like her
I know Walk away the pounds is very popular as well as turbojam and p90
Bollyrobics........awesome dance workout
P90X videos are pretty sweet. If I am riding my bike on the trainer then I like Chris Carmichael's Time Trial DVD (it's brutal). I think the Firm does a pretty good job in general.
I ADORE Tae-Bo! the ultimate abs/butt workout is amazing.
i'm trying to incorporate some yoga, and i found a set of 5 yoga DVDs by Sara Ivanhoe, that are only 20 minutes each. just short enough to hold my attention! =)
I have Nell McAndrew's Ultimate challenge - ultimate results.
It's AWESOME. It is high intensity cardio with a part for weights and also crunches, pressups, bum and thigh stuff and good stretching.
It is amazing and I've god amazingly fitter from doing it regularly over the past year. It's perfect if you can't be bothered to get to the gym for a hard core workout, you can do it at home!
I'm desperate to find a good pilates DVD though if anyone has any suggestions :D
I just got Gaiam..Cardio..with Tanja Delevic ...shes really inspiring!!!!
good workout flet alot stronger just from doing it twice!!!!...
was 12.95 at Save-On Foods, for a 50,30 and like 15 minute workouts.
Blending aerobics, with pilates/body conditioning, really good!
I love all of "The Firm" workouts. They really tone you up and you really do see results in 10 work outs like they say. It is tough but so worth it :-)
If you have a Dollar Tree in your town, they actually have some GREAT workout dvds. The top says "Body and Soul Fitness". There's a whole series, with a few different cardio ones, then strength ones for different parts of the body. You can get a great assortment for $5! I've been doing them on rotation for three weeks and can see a BIG change- I'm much more toned, and have lost 5 pounds! Not bad for a dollar a pop! They're about 50 minutes each, and include a warm-up, cool down, and stretching portion.
BILLY BLANKS. My favorite is his Bootcamp Taebo but I also do the Celebrity Get Fit and the original is excellent too.
Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" I prefer the 4 mile super challenge. Makes me feel the best.
