what is your favorite healthy and filling dinner?

Dinner is a big meal for me, I need to have it be filling and healthy so I can stay up and study a few hours after without wanting to snack.

 My all time favorite lately is a baked sweet potato topped 1/2 cup of black beans and laughing cow cheese mashed together and heated and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.  Its about 400-450 cals... sooo good.  

Anyone else?

Mine would have to be 3-4oz of garlic herb baked chicken breast.
With mashed potatoes
and a large salad


About 300-350 calories. Sooo good =D I'm a sucker for mashed potatoes.

I just found these AMAZING spicy veggie bean burgers at the local store - they are only 250cal/patty.

So I make 1 patty and then have some some veggies on the side.  Last night was steamed brocollii and fried mushrooms.  YUM.  I don't have it like a burger - just the patty with a bit of mustard on it.

I think I'm verging on being addicted to them.  hahaha

salad w/ a bag of steam fresh veggies, and chicken breast, and a bit of spinach.. very filling but good for you!

Salmon with roasted brussels sprouts that have been marinating in olive oil, lemon juice & garlic!

Grass-fed beef burger with broiled egg plant & onions

Grass-fed bison sausage with peppers, onions, green beans & zucchini 

Chicken diced & mixed with spaghetti squash, sun dried tomatoes, water chestnuts, mushrooms & zucchini 

 

**Protein is key when you want to reduce hunger and not have the urge to reach for a snack!
