So whats your favorite "healthy" food.
I looooove avocados. yummm this might sound weird but its amazing on toast. just spread it on like you would butter. ahhhh i love it. :)

I looove avocados too, in a whole wheat pitta with plenty of prawns and low fat-mayo, YUM!

I am in love with sweet potatoes. I would see people buy them all the time and think "what the hell is that? Looks weird" well i tried one a week ago and have to have one with either lunch or dinner now. I'm hooked.

If I had to choose, pineapple. Not the canned or packaged crap, the real, fresh ones. I haven't had pineapple for so long, but hopefully there will be some at Thanksgiving!

my favorite is home made marinara sauce. (the sauce is made with tons of tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, celery, chillies, carrots, garlic, parsley, and oregano. I make a huge batch of the sauce and put it in baggies to store some in the freezer for when I don't feel like cooking. it tastes great on its own, or over whole wheat pasta, or add a bit of water and eat it like a soup. It's really good. best part is no added oil or preservatives.
I love baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon sprinkled on it.
French toast. Whole wheat bread, with milk and egg whites, with cinnamon. cook in a non stick pan and it isn't high on calories and tastes really good.
1 apple sliced and microwaved with some cinnamon sprinkled on top. great way to spice up a plain apple. (I have a thing for cinnamon, I would bake but microwave is so much quicker)
frozen bananas sliced with cold skim milk. It is so cold, sweet and actually really filling. no need for ice cream.

The avocado and toast sounds like an excellent idea!!
But I think it would take me too long to finish one avocado... how long do they usually last after you slice them open??
As for my favorite foods... have to agree w/ most of the things listed up there...

wrap an avocado in foil and put it in the fridge and it should last a few days, might go a bit black on the edges but just cut that off and it'll be good.
