Favorite luna bar?
I use them as snacks. They are a little lacking to be meal replacements.
I hate the caramel nut brownie and cranberry almond with a passion. The caramel brownie is a million times too sweet, but the nuts make it bitter and odd tasting, like waxy. The cranberry almond is really bland, plus I don't like the cranberries in it : P
if i want something sweet i go with the dulce de leche or Smores
but most of the time i have the iced oatmeal raisin or chai tea.
my all time favorite is lemon zest!
but i havent tryed them all yet.
i hope they come out with new flavors i think i've tried them all now lol
I haven't seen the blueberry sunrise one anywhere, but i looooove the vanilla and strawberry ones... so I'm glad the blueberry one got a good review. ;) I'm excited to try it, once I find it!
I had dulce de leche yesterday. I'd had it before, but not in a while... I think they've changed their recipes, and it seemed different. The coating was on top, and was chewier. Anyway, it was a good change. That's what I love about luna bars-- I don't really dislike any, so I can chenge it up all the time and havign something "new" that I haven't had in a while, and I know i'll like it! :)

Question: do yall eat these as snacks or meal replacement?
Snack!! I could never sustain on one of those for a meal! On the occassion that I just can't get to some decent food (usually work related) I chomp a Clif Bar because they are much more dense and have a higher calorie content 250 cals. But they will do the trick. I would still feel hungry right afterwards if I did that with a Luna Bar.

However, when I travel, I like to pack them as a little mini meal so I don't have to deal with airport food. A Luna bar is a perfect light lunch paired with an apple or fruit cup I can get from a mini mart or Au Bon Pan in the airport.
I do the same thing - substitute it as a meal with an apple or some other piece of fruit. Also, I might eat it around lunch and have another snack when I get home (kind of 2 snacks instead of a meal).
my Mom has them for dessert sometimes, haha!
also, on topic - I just ordered two boxes of Luna Bars from Amazon.com. they go for about $1 a piece and if you order two 15-boxes, shipping is free. I have one just about every day, so I thought it might be a good investment.
are you guys vegans/vegetarians or just Luna bar fans?

I'm a vegetarian-with-vegan-tendancies (haha...), so Luna bars make me EXTRA happy. :)
Caramel nut brownie, although it has 10 more calories then the others at 190 calories but well worth it, i like to eat them for dessert sometimes. I also love the cookies and cream ones, nuts over chocolate, and cranberry nut.
My favorite is probably the Dulce de Leche, followed by the S'mores or Lemon Zest. Another type of LUNA I'd highly recommend is from their "Tea Cake" line. They're a bit smaller than a regular LUNA bar (around 150 cals I think?), but the Vanilla Macadamia is pretty amazing. As for me, I very rarely use them as a meal replacement, only if I'm extremely crunched for time in the morning. More often than not I use them as a mid afternoon snack in between my classes.
