It changes daily.  Today, mine is "Nutshell," by Alice in Chains

Mine changes quite often as well, but for the past few weeks it's been a tossup of three.  "Landing Gear" - Ani DiFranco, "Alla This" - Ani DiFranco (live in Boston version), and "Papa Was a Rodeo" - Magnetic Fields.

Me & Bobby McGee - Janis Joplin

(favorite song to sing, that is)

Although ... my always always always favorite song, regardless of what else I might be listening to, is Diana Krall's version of "A Case of You", from the Live in Paris album.

Cast Your Fate to the Wind - Vince Guaraldi = favorite instrumental song

Blackbird - Beatles = favorite acoustic song

At Last (My Love Has Come Along) = favorite love song

It always changes, but lately it's been Amanda Palmer-"Guitar Hero" and Crass-"Health Surface" (I know that's old but I've been listening to it a lot.)

SOOOO many to sort through, but ultimately it comes down to Tiny Dancer by Elton John (I cried BOTH times I saw him in concert during the performance of this song) and Here in Your Arms by Hellogoodbye.

I have the same taste as a flamboyant homosexual man. It's just... well, it's complete feel good music!

creep by radiohead.

and sheridin, you didn't post yours!

Lightning Strikes by Lifehouse.  Can't listen without tears.  And have to agree, that Etta James singing At Last is also a favorite.  Also really like Creep.  Sure describes a lot of people and situation.  Guess I am all over the place.

Today it's Killing in the Name of - RATM

Suspended In Gaffa - Kate Bush

Sherlock Holmes - Sparks

The Fall of Mister Fifths - Why?

Last Snowstorm of the Year - Low

Lorelei - Cocteau Twins

Dead Finks Don't Talk - Brian Eno

It is hard to pick a favourite, but if I listen to this song while I'm on my own, it always makes me cry:

Al Stewart - Roads to Moscow

Hmmm. I have many. At the moment, probably:

  • The Operation - Charlotte Gainsbourg
  • Arienette - Bright Eyes

Buckcherry

Too Drunk, Crazy B!tc#

Of Broken

Brightest One, Attention Please, Sometimes Blind

Worldstatic

Not Like You

Plus a ton more!

It's so hard to pick just one. I have so many and a pretty eclectic taste in music. My iPod contains everything from brittney spears (only a few songs, and for the gym only) to Iron Maiden to punk rock to classical to drum n bass to bauhaus. So my current favorites are (and it changes daily, might I add)

  • Beethoven - The glorious 9th symphony
  • Muse - Time is running out
  • Hepcat - Lovin Man
  • Less Than Jake - My Very Own Flag
  • Ghostland Observatory - Heavy Heart
  • The Who - Babba O'Reily
  • Marvin Gaye - Lets Get it On
  • Fall Out Boy - Dead on Arrival (OLD SONG!!)
  • Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

I'm sure I'd come up with a different list tomorrow

Mine changes so much depending on my moods/day/completly at random etc.

But at the moment:

Dido - Sand in my shoes
Savage Garden - Crash and Burn
Superchick - Fall down (We get up?)
Dead celebrity status - If these walls could talk

I've always liked the song "The Rose" by Bette Midler; "The Chair" by George Strait and I like "Make a Memory" by Bon Jovi.

I like lifehouse ;]
